Risposta di Funk Audio dove ho chiesto un paragone del proprio driver in rapporto al TC Sound 5400:
It has some aspects that are better, it has around 4db more output capability over 30hz, and around 3db less output capability under 30hz(given equal power), it has lower power compression. It has significantly lower distortion over ~70hz, this is important when mating with high quality main speakers, and comparable distortion under 70hz(nearly identical at peak output, and a bit lower at levels under peak output). It is also much "safer" to run in that our design makes it nearly impossible to bottom out the driver, it has good mechanical clearance beyond the linear limits of the motor, as opposed to the LMs5400 that has more linear motor travel than it does mechanical travel, making it much easier to bottom out and damage. We also offer better warranty service on our driver than Tc sounds offers on theirs.
