bisogna vedere che differenza c'è tra 900 e 1080 linee risolte in termini pratici cioè se la differenza è ben visibile o se è il classico specchietto per le allodole

ps:e i film in 2.35:1 come funziona? i tv che ne risolvono 900 in automatico risolvono tutte le linee visibili?

Di tutti i i difetti (ooops volevo dire features)che hanno i Tv Panasonic vogliamo proprio andare a vedere se hanno migliorato dove sono quasi perfetti?

La risoluzione in movimento è una di quelle caratteristiche che sono sempre state un punto di forza dei Pana. E 900 linee sono davvero un risultato cosi vicino alla perfezione che dubito (ma posso sbagliare) che ci si possa accorgere delle differenza se ne venissero risolte 1080.

Dalle prime impressioni di Cnet "sembra" che la versione ST30 abbia neri e colori indistinguibili dalla serie VT 2010, e questa per me è già una buona notizia. Ovviamente a patto che le note altre features del VT20 siano state risolte.

Altrimenti, fatica sprecata.

il vt20 risolve 950 linee senza ifc attivo...controlla sul sito panasonic

la situazione qui è un po' intricata, dato che, stando alla review di hdtvtest, il 50vt20 risolve già 1080 linee, anche senza ifc, mentre i modelli da 42 e 46, invece, parrebbe di no.
Comunque credo che questo aspetto non sia prioritario, dato che il buon vecchio Kuro 9g di linee ne risolveva 900 circa, ma resta sempre e comunque il riferimento assoluto, quindi...

ragazzi questo dato delle linee in movimento non ha senso se non viene fornita la velocità in pixel/s con cui viene eseguito il test. a 1 pixel/s anche l'lcd più economico può risolvere 1080 linee, a 100 pixel/s no. Tutto dipende dalla velocità del pattern con cui viene eseguito il test

Pur essendo stato uno dei primi a sollevare la questione, propongo di non andare oltre sull'argomento risoluzione in movimento, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le prestazioni di plasma del passato e non del futuro

Io tornerei volentieri su una osservazione di Picander che per il futuro si augurava "una migliore resa dei plasma nelle scene poco luminose".
Mi chiedevo se lui intendesse una richiesta di maggior luminosita' in generale, o magari si riferisse a dithering o quant'altri, visto che di sicuro come livello del nero non ci possiamo lamentare (e ancora di meno lo potremo fare con i nuovi Pane & Co.)

la cosa strana è che se leggete nelle schede tecniche dei modelli 2010 c'è scritto che con IFC risolve tutte le 1080 linee in movimento ma specifica "nella modalità cinema" come se nelle altre la cosa non funzionasse

Ha ragione Picander: una volta la motion resolution era un dato che guardavo con grande interesse, ora, dopo aver riscontrato numerose incongruenze (plasma privi di subfield drive 600Hz venivano già dati come capaci di risolvere 1080 linee, poi, nel corso degli anni, abbiamo avuto evoluzioni ed involuzioni a tempi alternati, non ha molto senso: ogni tanto si dimenticavano come si realizzano plasma che risolvono 1080 linee ?), prendo i dati con le pinze, sono misure troppo variabili (anche perché fatte ad occhio, e magari, come appunto ha sottolineato Picander, con pattern diversi).

......So, let’s start with the now infamous 50Hz issue that owners have complained about and indeed something I see on my VT20. It appears that communication of the exact problem has broken down somewhere in the process of feeding back the exact issue that members have reported.

The engineers initially thought that when we mentioned football as the main content where it is visible, it was the movement of the ball that was the issue. However, they did set up an impromptu demonstration with a 2010 G20 and a 2011 VT30 next to each other showing a short football clip in SD at 50Hz. While the engineers pointed out the better motion of the football as it travelled over the crowd, they were unaware of the exact issue we have seen here in the UK where the actual picture breaks up with fast panning moves; with lines on the pitch breaking down to component parts. I politely pointed this issue out to our hosts using the footage on screen and showing them exactly what the issue was. I also gave them the full details of our testing carried out over the last year as well as mentioning that it doesn’t appear on their competitor’s screens.

I have to take my hat off to the Panasonic engineers and staff here as after a few quick discussions between the team I was informed that they would be investigating the issue fully and they would come back to us. The plus point here is that there is no chance of the issue now being misunderstood as I had the opportunity to point it out directly to the actual engineering staff and that’s the best way. Again it was evidence of the company being fully open and listening to feedback.

So, was the issue there on the VT30? Yes, it was there if slightly less obvious than last year and hopefully something can be done to remove it completely by the time we get the production samples.

The next thing I know members will want an answer too is floating blacks that have been reported by some users. I was told that this issue is not present on the 2011 models. Next was the question of MLL Black level rising and again it was stated that this was not an issue on the 2010/11 sets.

2:2 cadence detection? Yes we have it for 2011 line. For film and video.

Posturisation, will be very much viewer dependent but excessive instances need to be reported with examples of when it happens. I have been asked to feed this back with examples..........

ahi ahi, il problema dei 50hz pare sia ancora presente a 2 mesi dal lancio, invece sembra che il deinterlacer finalmente funzioni (era ORA!),

Floating Blacks e Rising Blaks continuano ad essere un NON-Problema (not an issue) per Panasonic. Insomma le solite features che probabilmente ci ritroveremo anche sui set 2011.

Riguardo ai Floating Blacks l'articolo dice:

Ovvero: "mi e' stato detto che questo problema non e' presente sui modelli 2011"

1) Il problema "infame" dei 50 hz (definizione di avforums)
2) Rising Blacks

che a mio avviso erano la cosa peggiore dei modelli 2010...
sui 50hz non sò che dire...in quanto il problema riguardava principalmente il VT20 che non ho mai avuto modo di visionare tranne nei cc dove non capisci nulla...
io con il mio S20 tutti questi problemi con i 50hz non li noto...piuttosto era il deinterlacer che non funzionava e a quanto pare hanno sistemato anche questo
