Forse ci siamo. Al 30 novembre dovrebbe uscire finalmente una nuova versione del software che risolverà i problemi di ordinamento dei pulsanti e della replica dei comandi nelle varie attività
Incollo qui un post di un utente che ha finalmente avuto una risposta ufficiale da logitech ed una data per l'uscita della nuova release.

To be honest, I'm rather disappointed by this device. The reasons for this are:
1. Not being able to sort your devices
2. Not being able to sort custom buttons (both in activities and devices)
3. Not being able to define whether custom buttons should appear in other activities or not
4. Not being able to delete custom infrared commands from your devices.
5. Not being able to define macros
I expected that buying myself a 250 Euro remote control would give me state-of the-art technology and functions but it seems that I'm wrong.
And this is their answer
Dear Marcel,
Thank you for your recent inquiry about your Harmony Remote
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with your Harmony remote. At the moment, when you map a command for a device in one activity, this command will carry over into any activity which uses this device for the same function. Example:. If you add a command to and activity where the AV Receiver is used for volume control, the same command will appear in all activities using the AV Receiver as the volume control device. Also, any custom button labels added into the LCD screen of an activity are grouped by device and not the way they appear on the software.
The above issues which you are experiencing with your remote, will be resolved in our next member web update. This update is scheduled to take place on November 30, 2006 at which point you will be able to sort the custom labels in both activity and device modes, as well as define whether custom buttons should appear in other activities or not.
Unfortunately the ability to re-order the devices appearing on your Harmony will not be included, however this should not be an issue since device mode is only to be used for testing purposes. The Harmony remote is an activity based remote, and because of this we encourage our customers to customize and map buttons, create custom button labels and use the activity buttons to control the system. If you have commands that you can see in device mode, but they are not available to you in the activity mode, they can be mapped to the LCD during any activity. settings review the settings for this activity
Macros buttons are not a feature which is supported by any of our Harmony remote models. You can however add custom startup actions or custom leave actions to your various activities. To do this simply click the "Activities" tab on your Harmony home page and then click "Settings" next to the appropriate activity. On the following page, select the "Review the settings for this activity" option and then click "Next". Here, select "Yes, but I want to add more control of options" and then click "Next". Follow through the wizard to add the desired custom actions. Please ensure that you update your remote in order for these changes to take effect.

cari esperti dell'885, mi sono letto la disussione in questi giorni, ma a un certo punto mi sono perso in utili approfondimenti e il motivo per cui avevo iniziato a leggere mi è sfuggito, per cui vichiederei se non sono troppo superficiale a questo punto un chiarimento per me fondamentale:
l'885 può comandare contemporaneamente + amplificatori? io ho un aeron per il front e un marantz 5.1 per il centrale e il rear.
Come lavora con il box Sky hd PACE?
L'ultimo prezzo migliore rilevato su web e quale web?

Ciao io non sono espertissimo, e' solo 1 settimana che passo le ore sul server logitech, comunque fino ad ora posso dirti che con il Pace hd di sky funge benone, mentre sono quasi sicuro che con i tuoi ampli non ci sia nessun problema visto che il database di Logitech e' veramente completo.
Esempio io ho un pre audio note che non figurava sul loro database ma sfruttando un ampli similare riesco ad usare tutte le funzioni che mi servono del pre, anzi in piu' riesco addirittura a spegnerlo dall' harmony cosa che dal suo telecomando originale non e' possibile.

Quello che mi interessa sono i doppioni. Il remote non entra in crisi se deve pilotare 2 o 3 Ampli? Poi sulle attività studierò meglio. L'importante ora è capire se con un uninco remote io potrò pilotare:

Quello che mi interessa sono i doppioni. Il remote non entra in crisi se deve pilotare 2 o 3 Ampli? Poi sulle attività studierò meglio. L'importante ora è capire se con un uninco remote io potrò pilotare:

Non c'è nessun problema. Puoi pilotare qualsiasi cosa, 1, 2, 3, ampli e qualunque altro apparecchio che funzioni ad infrarossi.
Gli eventuali comandi mancanti dal database li carichi con l'autoapprendimento dal telecomando originale.
Cosa intendi per doppioni di ampli ??? se si tratta di due apparecchi uguali identici ovviamente il comando che invii ad uno lo prenderà anche l'altro.... ma questo non è un problema dell'harmony...........

No nessuna crisi a pilotare tutti i componenti in elenco, l'unica crisi ti verra' ad aspettare e capire quel pazzo che ha ideato l'aggiornamento via web ogni qualvolta tu faccia una modifica, e ne farai.....
L'ho preso da tdshop, 895 + extender wireless, a 250 una bella botta , ma mentre c'ero.
L' 885 e' uguale e' dovrebbe costare decisamente meno, comunque io fin'ora sono parecchio soddisfatto.

Si si questo è chiaro. Voglio solo esser chiaro di poter pilotare il MArantz 5500, per centrale e rear, l'Aeron a-4 per il Front più tv sat dvd etc. Se così è, e ci sono ampie possibilità di personalizzazione va beninssimo.
p.s. le macro/atività si possono mettere 1 per tasto vero?? Odio i maledetti scroll, per cui ci si mette 124 ore per fare qualsisi cosa....
p.s. quale sito è il più consiglitato to buy it??

A me ultimamente capità questo, ho creato un attività: guarda sky e in ordine accende TV - sky - input 1 e via.
Tutto bene tranne che qualche volta spesso, non mi accende la TV!
Poi clicco lo spegnimento dell'attività e spegne tutto ma accende la tv che prima non si era messa in funzione, sto sclerando, ho modificato 1000 volte questa attività, funziona per un pò e poi comincia a fare le bizze.
Che fare!
Tutto bene tranne che qualche volta spesso, non mi accende la TV!
Poi clicco lo spegnimento dell'attività e spegne tutto ma accende la tv che prima non si era messa in funzione, sto sclerando, ho modificato 1000 volte questa attività, funziona per un pò e poi comincia a fare le bizze.
Che fare!

Probabilmente hai dei problemi con i ritardi dei comandi TV. Se la Tv ha 2 comandi discreti per accensione e spegnimento, puoi provare ad aggiungere ancora 1 o 2 impulsi di accensione durante l'avvio dell'attività. Se il primo comando non lo prende (magari perchè il telecomando è puntato male) prenderà sicuramente il secondo o il terzo....
Se invece hai un solo comando on/off prova a far apprendere il codice in modalità RAW, puo darsi che la tv si accenda più volentieri con un impulso di durata maggiore.....
