leggendo quà e là, si mormora che forse nel 2006 uscirebbe ( ma NON C'E' niente di confermato) il SACD di ANIMALS dei Pink.....pare che Gilmour & Co. fin dall'epoca dell'uscita dell'album si siano lamentati della resa sonora del CD ...e visto che dovrebbe ricorrere il 25esimo o il 30esimo ( non ricordo) .......

Intanto mi accontento di vedere quel benedetto doppio DVD di PULSE.
Visto che da ottobre 2003 Rimandano l'uscita di 6 mesi in 6 mesi...


cmq si parla sempre di voci ...conoscendoli ...mi sà che sia una mezza balla

Complimenti per gli acquisti. Ho già sentito vari SACD della serie Living Stereo RCA-BMG. Vedrai che resa sonora (sono SACD masteriazzati da incisioni storiche fine anni '50 e primi anni '60, nelle quali sono state usate 3 tracce left-center-right e debbo dire che le trovo filologicamente assai convincenti)!

The full surround mixing of the 1975 album Wish You Were Here is ongoing. Doing any work like this takes time to ensure it is right, and provides the best possible audio experience, but Pink Floyd Management confirms that we are probably looking at the end of this year for a release of the album in hybrid CD/SACD (Super Audio CD) format.
With James Guthrie at the controls, the quality of this should be very high, and worth waiting for - and the feedback we have had for his work on Dark Side Of The Moon has been uniformly positive

Sarebbe ora...
ma a differenza di quello che dicono le riviste (frasi roboanti tipo "ora il SACD è maturo, ci sono più di 2000 titoli!!!!"), a parte qualche cosa su etichetti di classica, negli altri generi sono per il 95% riedizioni.

sarebbe il caso di incominciare a far capire questa situazione alle Major....l'unica possibilità che abbiamo è quella di smettere di comprare i cd e affini..... MAgari x un paio di anni....

Quest'anno ho comprato oltre 100 CD ed appena 9 SACD, se non comprassi CD per 2 anni, andrei in crisi d'astinenza!!!!
