Dear sirs,
I have a DS815NS (HD decoder supplied to me by SKY Italy).
It works very fine with HD broadcast.
I have only a trouble, I have a double LNB system (eutelsat
and astra) and when I try to syntonise the channels from ASTRA sat not all
the the provider are detected by the decoder. It seems that some frequencies
are skipped.

I tried to set by hand the frequency which are not detected,
but unfortunately selecting the double LNB configuration, the menù item to
input the frequency by hand is not active!?!?

Can you please explain me what can I do to solve this
trouble.

Oggi gli ho postato l'esempio della frequenza di Astra demo HD. Vedremo cosa rispondon, anche se non ho molta fiducia visto che se non ho capito male la Pace è una società del gruppo di Murdoch.....

If you want to tune to other frequencies, you can set the installation to "Motorizzata". This will enable the "Frequenze" Option.

NB. The Motorizzata type does not support DiSEqC switching so you will have to manually switch from 13 to 19.2.

Ma che l'abbiano scopiazzata da questo forum....

La cosa che più mi infastidisce cè che ammettono tranquillamente che le frequenze sintonizzate non sono tutte, ma solo quelle che vuole il vecchio Murdoch!!!

Per adesso gli ho solo chiesto se esicte un modo di switrchare manualmente il disecq senza andare sul tetto (io ho una parabola condominiale).

Alla prossima gli chiederò per quale motivo la sintonia automatica non spazzola tutte le frequenze!!!!

Mi hanno risposto e mi hanno suggerito di comprare un generatore di comandi per il descq:

"Hi Stefano,

I had assumed that you had separate 13 and 19.2 cables available and you could manually connect either of them to your STB.

In "2LNB" mode, the STB sends DiSEqC commands to switch from 13 to 19.2. These commands are not available in "Motorizzata", because it is assumed that the customer has a manually controlled motorised dish which is used to view satellites other than 13 and 19.2.

I think your only option is to purchase a DiSEqC inserter which will allow you to manually switch the signal coming from the dish on your roof between 13 and 19.2.

Below is an example- although this is a UK company I am certain there will be suppliers in Italy.

Ho dato un'occhiata la sito e l'aggeggo costa circa 17 dollari più VAT, solo che bisogna ordinarne almeno 3. C'è qualcuno interessato ad un "co-buy". La spesa non è eccessiva e per chi ha il doppio illuminatore permette di vedere qualche altro canale HD.
