Adds reinterlacing for 480p and 576p sources. This can provide dramatic improvements to a picture that has been poorly deinterlaced prior to coming into the Radiance. Reinterlacing also allows for taking in 480p/576p movies and going out at 24/48/72Hz. The new command is under Input:Video Setup:RES:Control:Reinterlace. With this command you can "allow" or "disallow" quick remote key control for a particular resolution as well as turn it on/off. If "Reinterlace <> Keys" are allowed the left/right arrow buttons on the remote can then be used to control reinterlacing. The left arrow can toggle reinterlacing on/off and the right arrow toggles the field order. Depending on how the picture was deinterlaced, the field order may or may not be important but it can be quickly toggled to see if there is any difference. Discrete commands are available for reinterlacing control as well and they are "menu 0940"=off, "menu 0941"=on, "menu 0942" = toggle field order. A new rs232 command was added to arm the right/left arrow keys for reinterlace control, it is "ZY523X<CR>" where X='0' disallows, X='1' allows, X='2' allows with onscreen messages. The discrete reinterlace commands also work as rs232 commands ("M0940","M0941","M0942"). An rs232 command was added for reinterlacing status, "ZQI17", which returns "!I17X,Y,Z" where X = 1/0 (on/off) , Y = 1/0 (allow/disallow) for <> keys, Z= 1/0 (active / not active) to indicate whether reinterlacing is taking place.

Improved PAL deinterlacing and now allows "film only" deinterlacing mode to use settings under "Enhance" menu for 50Hz sources.

Added direct command to set output sync polarity, "menu 01XY". X=0/1 (-/+ Horiz polarity), Y=0/1 (-/+ Vert polarity). Both outputs set together. Use menu to set them different from one another.

Upped maximum output pixel clock settable to 156 Mhz (useful for CRT displays). (Note: XD+ already has a higher settable pixel clock)

Bugfixes: Bugfix for film mode sometimes not getting set when changing memories. Bugfix of 1080i-50 component zoom settings causing incorrect cropping on left side. Loss of input video under rare circumstances fixed. Loss of output video (depending on configuration) on output 2 fixed. Fix for inability to alter rate match settings on inactive config. Input changes to non-hdcp sources were sped up. Copying ouput aspect from one output config to another fixed. Copying black/white in output config fixed. "

Appena upgradato al nuovo firmware...tempo impiegato circa 9 minuti(aggiornamento corposo ).
+ tardi provero' il re-interlaccio sullo skyfobox.....intanto faccio un po' di zapping x vedere cose' migliorato

Mmmmmm,non capisco come farlo fungere il reinterlaccio:
Ora sono su un canale SD ma mi dice che posso abilitare la funzione solo x i 480/576p ?!
Ma sullo skyfobox HD si esce a 1080i .....come ci si deve muovere?? qls mi sfugge

Scusate ragazzi, tra un pò sarò dei vostri, ma mi premeva sapere una cosa...essendo possessore di uno schermo 21:9 e non possedendo una lente anamorfica, mi premeva sapere se l'XS, avesse sia in entrata che in uscita le seguenti funzioni che supporta il mio attuale VP50 PRO ossia:
In entrata : INPUT ASPECT RATIO>FRAME AR>4:3;16:9>ACTIVE AR>1.33:1;1.55:1;1.66:1;1.78:1;1.85:1 e per me importante 2.35:1
In uscita : ASPECT RATIO>SCREEN>4:3;16:9 e 2.35:1......in poche parole mi interessa sapere se in entrata che in uscita il videoprocessore, mi fà abilitare il 2.35:1, grazie a tutti.

Credo di aver capito x il discorso re-interlaccio:

Sullo skyfobox o altri deco bisogna impostare i 576P quando si e' su un canale SD che trasmette a 720x576 e poi abilitando il "Prep" sul menu del Radiante fa' il reinterlaccio.........il problema e' che ogni volta che si cambia da un canale SD ad uno HD bisogna entrare nel menu' del decoder ed impostare 576 o 1080....insomma un bello SKYfo,confermate?
Era solo una prova visto che utilizzando il DB800HD non ho di questi problemi(fa' tutto in automatico e meglio )

Non ho il decoder collegato al Rad,
però potresti provare ad usare la scart per i canali SD e l'Hdmi per i canali HD, così basta che cambi sorgente invece che entrare nel menù.

Ma forse non hai letto....io NON ho nessun problema ,visto che utilizzo il DB800hd che fa' tutto in automatico
Altra cosa.......ce' una selezione veloce x impostare la modalita' film oppure video senza dover entrare ogni volta nel menu?
E voi notate delle differenze sui canali HD tra queste 2 modalita'?

Devi solo impostare nel decoder l'uscita video in risoluzione originale (che replica in uscita la stessa risoluzione dell'ingresso) e non forzare altre risoluzioni.
