Scaricata e provata adesso,devo dire che problemi di luce non c’è ne sono più,ho dovuto diminuire l’intervento da 5 a 3 e portare il gamma a 7!ottimo lavoro da lumagen e la mia scelta sul prodotto non può che essere là più azzeccata

Con la scusa che continuo a guardare se fanno l’aggiornamento per i filtri nitidezza ho visto questo è l’ho scaricato,fa veramente un lavoro eccezionale!basta che provi assassins creed e te ne rendi conto!io però uso il 2020hdr e tu se non sbaglio usi il 2020sdr quindi non so come si comporta!prova ad usare il set che uso io e vedi!immagine chiara bella contrastata ed il nero intenso

E' assimilabile a MADVR pero' alla versione di un paio di mesi fa, adesso si sono portati avanti e MADVr e' superiore, non e' detto che con il Radiance non raggiungano lo stesso livello piu' avanti, sono solo partiti piu' tardi. Queste alcune note, se non le avete:

Dynamic Tone Mapping should be released Wedensday (I will be testing the release candidate tonight). I have tested the prerelease version and have watched many hours of HDR and viewing extended portions of perhaps 10 movies (tough job I have :blush. I think the Radiance Pro Dynamic Tone Mapping looks excellent and I see a visible improvement versus the Static Tone Mapping of earlier releases, especially for source material that incorrectly reports MaxCLL. I did not see any “less than optimal” decisions made by the Dynamic Tone Mapping in my viewing. So, I think this will be a good release to post for everyone to test.

Of course, there may be further improvement possible. Once you have the Dynamic Tone Mapping, if you see something you think might be improved, email lumagen.com support with the player/streamer model, movie/program and time stamp. Include a description of what you are seeing and what you think might be done to improve it. There is a chance we can improve the scene you point out. However, understand it might be intrinsic to dynamically calculated MaxCLL.

Dynamic Tone Mapping can change the effective MaxCLL on any frame, but it only makes sense to change it at the beginning of a scene. Changing it in the middle of the scene would cause a visible change in areas of the picture that should not be change during the scene. So, the Radiance Pro works by changing the effective MaxCLL on a scene by scene basis.

You enable Dynamic Tone Mapping in the MENU->Input->Options->HDR Setup->DynamicLevel menu. Note: Dynamic Tone Mapping is disabled by default (at least for now). The menu looks like:

Enabled: No, Yes
Level: 1 to 8
For Input Current or All
For Memory Current or All

As noted in the DynamicLevel menu you can press the “ALT” key while the menu is active if you want to show an abbreviated menu at the bottom of the screen, so it is out of the way for testing different “Level” values and off versus on. Press OK to get back to the normal menu screen.

The “Level” parameter adjusts how much the Static MaxCLL affects the calculation. Level = 1 uses the HDR10 Static MaxCLL in conjunction with the dynamically calculated MaxCLL. This acts to moderate changes in the MaxCLL value used for each frame. The effect that Static MaxCLL has on the result is reduced as Level is increased.

We do not yet have a recommendation on the best setting for “Level” but I expect it will be in the 5 to 8 range. Using Level = 5 will use a bit of the Static MaxCLL as a sort of “pivot point” to moderate how much change is allowed while still allowing the calculated MaxCLL to significantly change the transfer function on a scene by scene basis. Level = 8 may end up being preferred since it effectively uses only calculated MaxCLL.

Ciò che scrivi è inesatto. L'approccio è forzatamente diverso e limitato, per via delle restrizioni hardware. Si tratta senza dubbio di un ottimo miglioramento per i possessori del Lumagen ma il percorso seguito da Madvr segue altre strade, ben più performanti. Non parliamo poi del caso in cui si voglia pre-misurare i file/dischi 4K HDR: in questo caso, addirittura, la partita finisce già prima del fischio iniziale.

Non direi, ho specificato che si parla di un paio di mesi fa e non ho fatto riferimento alla versione test, la versione ufficiale 92.17 senza test non credo onestamente sia molto diversa dalla condizione attuale del Radiance, per me e' "assimilabile" ed e' quella su cui vanno fatti i confronti, escono al momento anche 3 beta al giorno, alcune con algoritmi cosi' pesanti che una 580 non riesce a gestirli e che dopo un giorno spariscono...

Onestamente trovo poco professionale che un operatore che opera per una ditta che propone un prodotto concorrente scriva in questo thread con frasi cosi pompose a favore del proprio ma sicuramente sbaglio io...

buongiorno gente,complimenti a emmanuele x acquisto fammi sapere come ti trovi perchè a fine anno penso di pensionare il mio x5500 per l n7,cmq bando le ciancie sto ultimando la calibrazione a 4913 punti se aggiorno non è che poi devo rifare ancora le calibrazioni vero???
qualcuno che a gia aggiornato sa come impostare al meglio questo nuova aggiunta???

No, tranquillo, le calibrazioni vengono memorizzate nei banchi di memoria che non sono coinvolti dagli aggiornamenti.

Per quanto riguarda la 3DLUT ti consiglio di utilizzare il parametro temporale e limitare la calibrazione ad 1h e 30 max 2h.
Il motivo è che per un VPR, diversamente da una TV, la lampada riscalda tutto il sistema ed altera leggermente i parametri anche nel giro di poche ore per cui ha poco senso una calibrazione precisa di 3-4 ore quando poi la precisione viene inficiata dal riscaldamento.
(Se ho capito male attendo rettifiche da chi è più esperto di me)

Credo anch'io. Qui non si è parlato di nessun prodotto "concorrente" (quale poi? Non mi occupo di sviluppare o vendere processori video stand alone) ma solo delle prestazioni di Madvr. In tal senso, nessuna frase pomposa ma la pura e semplice verità.

considerando che la calibrazione sia giusta, ho provato questa nuova opzione e sul film revenant sembra tutt altra cosa complimenti a lumagen e spero si migliori sempre di piu.

ciao, mi sapete dire secondo voi qua è ad oggi il programma migliore per fare autocal, ho provato il calman home entusiast e mi trovo bene ma secondo me non è il top, cromapure 3 non riesco ad usarlo mi combina piu casini che altro inviandomi pure pattern sballati, volevo sapere se qualcuno a lightillusion e come vi trovate, grazie.
