http://www.plasmatvreviews.org.uk . Ormai mi diverto a dare la caccia ai giudizi su questa controversa serie C6500.

Ed ecco la recensione (non so se è professionale o casereccia) dove ho evidenziato alcuni punti veramente da commentare:
"There are certain things you just can’t do without. And good ‘ole entertainment is one of them and who better than Samsung to dish out the best of the best? Take Samsung PS58C6500 58” Plasma TV, for instance. It’s got enough potential to astound even the most difficult to impress of viewers. The design is no surprise – when have Samsung’s design engineers ever failed to impress? We’ve done this a hundred times – going through the eye-popping design of a Samsung Plasma TV, that is. But it never hurts to do it again! The Samsung PS58C6500 does not have any of Samsung’s usual curves and crimsons – it’s sharp angles this time and the effect is very classy.
And the transparent crystal neck – that’s my favourite part, gives the TV a heavy dose of panache, which should do any living room good. As far as the specs are concerned, the Samsung PS58C6500 sports a 1920 x 1080p resolution, a mega dynamic contrast ratio and is equipped with Anynet+ and Internet@TV. For connectivity, the TV deserves a full 10, for it hosts the complete league with highlights such as 4 HDMIs, a D-sub, 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port that you can use for wired network access.
Now that we’ve gotten over with the design and connectivity, we go in to the performance aspect of this plasma TV without further ado. Standard definition content to begin with, is not bad at all, in the screen of the PS58C6500.
We did have apprehensions about this at the start – we have to admit, the PS58C6500 banished them all. With HD content, this plasma TV took a whole new avatar that could make you wonder if Sammy’s the best brand there is, if only for an instant. Let me elaborate on that.
I picked out our dusty Jurassic Park DVD collection and slipped in the first DVD. True, any human being on earth would’ve watched the move at least once and I for that matter have watched it a hundred times. But not once like this.
The movie came to life like never before – the cheerfully bright colours of the cloned dinosaur amusement park were a sight to the eyes. But Nedry’s escapade on a thundery night – the moment he climbs out of his crashed Jeep as rain pours and the darkness palls, only to be faced by a stalking Dilophosaurus, that’s when I wondered if Samsung was the best ever TV maker there is. The darkness and the details within the rain-drenched scene were simply brilliant.
But sonically, the Samsung PS58C6500 isn’t all that great. High-octane sequences lack the necessary energy-packed rendition. Voices sound OK, but that’s about it. We cannot say much about this plasma TV’s audio performance.
Verdict:
With black levels, colours and contrast, the Samsung PS58C6500 Plasma TV is at it’s best. Had the audio performance been a wee bit better, it would have been a killer TV.
