I have tried this attemps
· I connect directly ps3 to hd fury and from hd fury to barco cine 7 through rcvds05 barco switch
This is NOT direct its through a barco switcher.
· I used different type of cable (dvi(hdmi, hdmi/hdmi/reducer dvi,) an different lengths from 50 cm to 3 m
· I used different source ps3, decoder sky (pace hd), dvd progressive scan (Hamlet/Mitsumo), decoder and dvd light on immediately blu led, ps3 never light on. Hd fury light on (sky and dvd) also without to connect the 5 bnc connectors
The Barco will not accept TRUE high def-1 080i or 720p through the switcher,in fact it wont accept true hidef direct UNLESS through port 9.
· I
· · Barco cine 7 support 1080i because I used this resolution with dvd progressive scan and my computer by second exit of videoboard
the Barco does not accept TRUE hidef unless via component transcoded to rgbhv.-read above.1080i is not a progressive resolution its an interlaced resolution.
· I known (but I can err) that hd fury convert hdcp signal otherwise it cannot talk wit digital source hdcp complaiant. . Maybe for this, sometime it don´t correctly convert with decoder sky and it send the message "attention the signal is not correct you must go to the standard resolution ....), so I must light off decoder or to enter in the menu and I must change resolution.
Theres nothing wrong with the hd fury, its how you are using it,SEE ABOVE ,the HD FURY transcodes the digital signal to RGB-where there is NO hdcp present.
You need to set the sky box to 1080i..NOT auto.this confuses most scalers-let alone the hd fury.;-)
As a former crt seller i can ASURE you ,hidef is a tall order for an 8" crt -let alone a 7",the cine 7 is underpowered and EVEN going in via port 9 there will be line overlap.
I know what you are trying to do, you are taking the hd fury into a splitter and splitting the signal..this is why the lower resolutions work and not the higher ones-which EVEN if not split would likely not work on your displays in your config.
The hd fury cannot work sometimes and not others,it work or it doesnt, what will happen is the display can accept or not.
