bhò io non direi proprio no, sicuramente con linux qualcosa si può , dipende dalle sue competenze.
La questione è che , sapendo la sua configurazione si potrebbe dare risposta alle sue esigenze.

La mia rete si basa sul router della TIM, penultimo modello, uno switch 100/1000 vicino la TV (Samsung QE75Q70A) e basta. Originariamente scritto da ovimax

se hai il timhub collega una chiavetta USB con questiofile, abilita il DLNA sul modem.
altrimenti usa il PC con plex/emby.
Prova la leggere il file dalla TV con player DLNA tipo questo https://www.samsung.com/za/support/t...v-2014-models/
per i file UHD potresti provare qeusti adattatori, non sò quali funzionano su samsung
