Trovato i dettagli della modifica fatta da Exemplaudio sul 105 .
Anzi di modifiche ne fa di 2 tipi, oltre quella citata "a valvole" da 4.750 dollari, anche altra -molto più economica- a "stato solido" da 2.700 dollari:

Oltre alla già citata modifica dei danesi "full" (169$) http://www.bluraychip.dk/product.php?id_product=25 , che però consente poi l'installazione gratuita di un trick che consente la lettura delle ISO http://www.bluraychip.dk/product.php?id_product=29 , segnalo l'esistenza di un firmware alternativo per gli Oppo USA delle ultime due generazioni, che fa lo stesso, ovverosia consente la lettura delle ISO (THX FabioDS).

Qualcuno l'hai già provato sul 105 europeo?? Sarei molto interessato per via delle iso , ma non è' che si fanno danni a installarlo ?????:eek:

Edito.. Leggo adesso che non funziona nelle macchine europee?!?

Ziky è sottolineato con il colore rosso in due punti il fatto che il firmware sia disponibile solo per macchine di provenienza USA: all'inizio e in fondo, dove si precisa che non può essere installato su macchine europee o australiane.

Ok comunque cosa si intende per firmware alternativo?? Non ufficiale... Se poi si inchioda qualcosa chi risponde??!?

Si intende che è un firmware non ufficiale, creato da appassionati e non da Oppo, per fargli fare...............vabbè, non so se è consentito dare dettagliate informazioni sull'argomento, ma sarebbe bello averlo anche per le versioni EU.

Non ti si può inchiodare perché appena parte trova il tuo Oppo EU, ti dice subito che il firmware non è utilizzabile.
Se poi ne facessero uno EU, e sto insistendo senza risultati, e magari ti si inchioda mentre lo stai caricando, l'unico momento critico se va via l'alimentazione, lo rimandi all'Oppo (sempre che il tuo sia liscio e non mod) e non avresti problemi a fartelo riparare, figuriamoci se perdono tempo a leggere un eprom mezza bruciata per capire tu così gli stavi caricando su.

Per via di queste ISO, negli ultimi giorni mi stanno girando non poco, avrei quasi voglia di passare ad altro player, ma il mercato non offre granché con questo rapporto prezzo/qualità.

SAlve, tra un'oretta potrò finalmente provare l'Oppo 105 Ultra K mod da me....

Bene cosi' potremo testare le differenze tra il DAC attraverso il PC e il DAC da lettore Oppo...buon lavoro ;)

Nella sessione di stamattina abbiamo ascoltato solo il pc prima e l'Oppo poi, non c'è stato tempo di provarlo come DAC...comunque ho tenuto l'oppo e lo avrò a disposizione nel fine settimana, così da poter fare altre prove, soprattutto collegare i due moduli con doppio 12" e variare le configurazioni dei crossover in Jriver..
Quello che è' emerso e che già conoscevo, e' stato un grandissimo controllo, un senso di immersione nel suono co i surround molto coinvolgenti e apertura della scena...mancava il puch estremo ma per configurazione dei diffusori, sia con jriver che con l'oppo

La configurazione che avevo impostato in jriver va sicuramente rivista, e misurata...quando si impostano tanti crossover le misure sono fondamentali

Mi raccomando eh,non ti dimenticare di questo confronto fondamentale ;)

Grazie Guido per le prove eseguite...sei entrato in PCM lineare nell'oppio dal Computer giusto?

Ho scelto Oppo in Jriver come periferica audio e wasapi...controllo domani se in effetti Jriver così settato esca in PCM

Eh si',perche' a me interessa collegare all'oppo o il Digifast/Voyager o l'A.R.C.A,quindi per forza di cose deve arrivare un segnale in PCM lineare all'oppo dall'HDMI.
