OPTOMA 7300 e.... Metavision

Ciao a tutti,

vorrei una vostra impressione.
Ma L'optoma 7300 mostrato nella preview del CES
di Emidio e del Magister Manuti, non è "molto" simile
(parlo della scocca) al Metavision 723 ?

However, it seems that this projector is not an original Optoma design, but rather it is derived from the Chilin Optronics CHT-726 (made by another, lesser-known Taiwanese manufacturer):

Not all are identical. Some of them use 1280x720 chips, and others use the new 1280x768 panel. AFAIK, the Optoma is the only one with a DarkChip3 panel. There are other differences in video processing (although whether this is because of the outer box is another matter).

I also suspect that this projector is sold as a two-box option, but it is not quite other similar designs: the projector is not stripped of all inputs except the one for the outer box, but rather it is a full-fledged unit, bundled with a scaler.
