aazz...praticamente ogni due giorni c'è un aggiornamento da fare sul PC...e le gambe tremano. Coraggio CHI LI PROVA? serve un volontario!

Poi voglio la spalla di Aurel su cui piangere...

Ad ogni modo, se in più ci aggiungiamo il software Holo3d 2.0betapre2a già di per sè instabilissimo, la miscela è esplosiva.

Infatti gli ospiti sabato sera non ci sono e sparo le mie cartucce con proiezione per amici QUESTA sera.
Poi tutto il fine settimana a tirar cancheri.

Un manipolo di pazzi sta compromettendo i propri impianti per testare una tecnologia che gli stessi programmatori - Mark Rejhon in testa - definiscono Microsoft's Bleeding Edge... :o

Però chissà che con questi nuovi drivers non si riesca a permettere un vero salto di qualità

Comunque i drivers li ho già scaricati. Purtroppo, per ragioni di tempo, non potrò provarli prima di domani.

Ho barattato la pennichella con una prova preliminare.

Premetto: la comparazione tra i 3.4 ed i 3.2 è stata fatta, sugli stessi dvd, passando da una partizione all'altra sullo stesso HD; i valori di holo ed overlay, naturalmente, sono uguali per le due versioni; la prova di visione è stata fatta sul monitor del pc.

I risultati (secondo il mio occhio) sono: maggiore saturazione dei 3.4; a tratti ho avuto la sensazione di una resa dei colori un pò strana.

Lo sharpness è pressocchè invariato (forse un pelo meno nitidi i 3.4).

La fluidità, rispetto ai 3.2, pare migliorata.

Prendete con le pinze queste mie affermazioni: la partizione su cui ho installato i 3.4 è stata, in passato, oggetto di ogni possibile maltrattamento e temo che ciò abbia, almeno un pò, influito sui risultati.

Comunque, la vera prova sarà quella con il proiettore.

Nel frattempo, un'occhiatina dategliela: per quanto ho visto, non ci sono problemi di stabilità.

Presto, stasera spianiamo tutto con il VPR e entro Domenica vediamo chi ha mandato in crash per primo il software Immersive

Il nero non mi convince proprio per nulla.

Ho serie difficoltà ad impostare il black level correttamente; la barra a 2 ire riesco a staccarla, ma quella nera resta visibilmente più chiara rispetto al nero della banda superiore ed inferiore; giocare col gamma non aiuta.

Forse sono io che sbaglio qualcosa: con i 3.2 però non ho questi problemi.

Come ho già segnalato in un altro post, la cosa interessante di questa release (ovviamente per i possessori di CRT) è il ripristino della possibilità di andare in interlacciato.
Raddoppiando le linee verticali e dimezzando la frequenza mi sembra ci sia un netto miglioramento sulla naturalezza dell'immagine, penso perchè si salta la fase di deinterlacciamento.

Bè potrebbe essere interessante visto che con il panny 300 non si può escludere il deinterlacciatore interno. (HO per caso detto una cazzata???)
