Tastiera HTPC

Per quanto riguardo l'uso del mouse, io la trovavo piu comoda della logitech, ma poi aveva un sacco di altri problemi, come la perdita spesso della configurazione bluethoot, sicuramente le dimensioni ed le batterie sempre scariche.

Va anche detto che la dinovo nel suo setup si possono variare velocità e sensibilita del touchpad, cosa che ha sicuramente migliorato le cose.
Per l'ambito HTPC-salotto secondo me la logitech è imbattibile, e se serve è anche compatibile con la PS3. Certo costa una cifra

L'ho presa anch'io, da premettere che avevo gia' acquistato da Brando.... tutto ok.

Tanto per raffreddare i bollenti spiriti, la recensione di uno che ha comprato la tastiera e gli è già arrivata:

This keyboard was posted over many tech blogs a month or so ago including engadget. It looked so promising that I decided I'd try to save some money and instead of buying the Logitech DiNovo that I was thinking about I'd try this one.

BIG MISTAKE. This thing finally arrived today and let me be the first to tell you, it's a piece of junk. The build quality is pathetic, the RF range is horrible, and the trackball is utter crap.

First with the build quality: the entire keyboard rattles and creaks when you pick it up or move it, the button presses are mushy and cheap feeling... it's really just a cheap piece of chinese hardware

The range is horrible... they don't say what kind of wireless interface it's using other than it's 2.4GHz... I tried plugging the receiver into a USB port on the back of my HTPC so it wouldn't be visible and I got virtually no range. Even plugged into a front USB port, I get iffy performance when sitting on my couch which is maybe 10-12 feet away from the HTPC, loosing connection completely several times.

The trackball is a piece of crap, the ball itself isn't firmly held in place and shifts around in it's hole as you try to roll it... this leads to tracking problems so the cursor doesn't move smoothly... and if you try to move quickly (a 1920 pixel wide screen is a long way to go) it just totally gives up and the cursor doesn't move.

There is a slot on the bottom of the keyboard where you can store the USB receiver, but when you're actually USING the keyboard it's a large gaping hole in the bottom with sharp edges that your figers naturally fall into creating an uncomfortable grip.

The size of the keyboard as a whole is just really awkward... it's way to small to touch type, yet it's too large to use as a thumb board. I find myself using a bastardized form of hunt and peck with several different fingers.

Long story short... it's damn near painful to use this keyboard and now I have $50 right in the trash so my keyboard investment is just that much more than if I'd just gone straight out and bought a DiNovo.

Insomma una schifezza...

Passiamo ad altro ( ) penso alla Logitech che ha mammabella.

Lo so che come marca non e' molto amata ma sinceramente io la uso da circa un anno e' non ho mai avuto nessun problema.
Range ottimo, non perde un colpo e le batterie le ho cambiate una sola volta.
Non sarà ai livelli della Logitech ma il prezzo e' decisamente abbordabile. La trackball e' ottima e precisa.
Se vi capita di trovarla in giro, non lasciatevela sfuggire!

Vero, le assomiglia molto. Probabilmente avranno proprio copiato il design. Pero' la Trust e' in RF.
E mi sono dimenticato di dire che ha anche la rotellina per lo scroll!

Per la questione BIOS invece posso dirti che non mi ricordo . Ovvero, mi sembra di aver piu' volte smanettato sul bios con questa tastiera ma visto che ho disabilitato qualcosa inerente all' Wake On USB ora non riesco ad accederci per confermare

Bhe se è così schifosa vedremo....del resto per qule prezzo non mi aspettavo che fosse robusta e silenziosa (è chiaro che è un giocattolino scricchiolante!!). Quello che mi preoccupa è la ricezione, le misure sono esattamente quelle che io volevo. No dispiace neppure la tastiera indicata da Bollani73......se solo l'avesse linkata prima.....

Confido nella tua recensione... io sono anni ormai che non riesco pienamente a convincermi di una mini tastiera, questa era quella che più si avvicinava al mio ideale

Oggi sono arrivate le 2 tastiere ordinate. Nessuna spesa di dogana e tempi di consegna pari a quelli dichiarati. Le prove fatte sono state molto rapide ma l'esito è ottimo. Abbiamo collegato le 2 tastiere ad un fisso dell'ufficio e a un notebook. In maniera sintetica direi:

1) La tastiera funziona egregiamente
2) Qui in ufficio funziona da distanze siderali e da una stanza all'altra (le pareti sono di cartongesso e per siderali intendo circa 10m)
3) La trackball funziona bene anche se non trasmette certo una sensazione di robustezza (la pallina ha un certo gioco nella sua sede!!)
4) Le dimensioni sono perfette per l'utilizzo HTPC
5) Pile incluse nella confezione
6) Comodissimi i tasti dx, sx della trackball nella parte dove si appoggiano le dita
7) Che sia un po' scricchiolante è vero dato che è tutta di plastica, ma per quel prezzo non vedo proprio come poteva essere altrimenti.
8) In conclusione è quello che volevo (se fosse meno plasticosa e con la track più solida potrebbe tranquillamente costare e valere più del doppio!!)
