beh grazie, sarei stato un po' riluttante persino in caso di presunti vantaggi, figuriamoci così, sarebbe come martellarsi il... telecomando

l'ho pagato forse caro (1100 euro lo scorso luglio) ma lo ricomprerei subito... certo che pero' se Panasonic invece di migliorare i fw li peggiora... mah.

ci sono novita' riguardo il nero che gia' dopo poche ore diventa grigio?
qualcuno ha riscontrato il problema anche in italia?

Ma è sempre la solita notizia del livello del nero che si alza per preservare il pannello nel tempo (secondo comunicato panasonic di circa un mese fa) o è una nuova terrificante news?!?

possiedo un g10 46" da giugno, e nonostante i quasi 10 mesi di utilizzo non ho notato alcun decadimento del nero.

Quello che noto è la presenza del banding sia sugli incarnati in movimento che su tutte le sfumature ( nebbia, mare, fari) e credo dico credo che con il passare del tempo sia peggiorato.
Ovviamente il problema è + evidente con materiale SD, ma anche in HD si vede.

Al momento ho il FW 1206, aggiornandolo diminuisce il banding? e i micro scatti? anche se questi ultimi non son poi così fastidiosi e non vorrei che siano dovuti alla visione di materiale 24p. Utilizzo per la visione di materiale HD un WD TV Live.

Anch'io ho il tuo stesso problema con il firmware 1206 ed il Wdtv Live. Volevo chiamare la Panasonic per sapere se potevano aggiornarmelo almeno alla 1209 (sono in possesso del 1213 e del 1215 ma non ho il coraggio di aggiornare..).Volevo chiederti sei riuscito a settare colore luminosita' e cosi via anche per l'ingresso del WDTV e SALVARLO ?Se si puoi dirmi come hai fatto grazie !

Ragazzi, prima di effettuare aggiornamenti fai-da-te contattate Panasonic...se avete su il 1206, lamentatevi degli scatti e pretendete che esca il tecnico...tanto siete in garanzia, no?

Si... e NON dimenticatevi di DISTRARRE il TECNICO .... con una bella GNOCCA

così nel frattempo avete il tempo di farvi una COPIA dell' SD

con il firmware 1209 da poter postare sul FORUM.

Purtroppo per la maggior parte di noi (che siamo passati al 1215) non serve perchè indietro non si può tornare. Provato a tornare indietro almeno alla 1213 ma appena letta la Sd compare il messaggio che avvisa che è installato un firmware più recente. Quindi per il Downgrade...... NISBA!

salve a tutti ho trovato questo aggiornamento per il g10 qualcuno di voi ne e' a conoscenza?

General consensus is all G10's and V10's with build dates after July and ship with firmware version 1.24 should have had the corrected THX mode. There have been some cases where owners of later than July builds think they have the THX issue but I suspect it is just a grayscale in need of calibration issue. Another way to tell is if you claim to have the green cast across all picture modes--that is NOT the THX issue.

As for the fix, it was noticed on the techtraining.panasonic.com website in the list of firmware D/L's the end of January and was dubbed the "1/20" fix as that was the corresponding date of release. People started downloading and installing it and noticed it was the real deal. After installation THX mode now looked fantastic, really a night and day difference. Shortly thereafter the site was blocked from the public but luckily the D/L links still work.

So far it does not look like this fix will be released over Viera Cast. As of now, it is suggested to call Panasonic support and schedule a tech to come out to install the FW since in doing this update there is some risk involved. This particular FW update requires changing a boot setting in the service menu (to SD) and updating through there. I suppose if you lost power during the update you could possibly brick your TV and you wouldnt be covered under warranty for doing that. By having a certified Panasonic tech come out and do it you would be fully covered if this happened.

Also, sometimes someone will ask how to tell if they have this issue. Might be worth adding these pictures of before and after the update I posted which show it pretty well:
