ho tralasciato un pezzo della mia catena video, quella esatta è:
Mediaportal + Nvidia PureVideo + ffdshow/avisynth (come post-processor).
Il codec mpeg2 di ffdshow non lo uso perchè il video va a scatti (perlomeno a me).

Detto questo potresti posare velocemente una config da usare con i purevideo e quindi sftuttare l'accelerazione HW della GPU??
OK per la soluzione "tutto software" che ci hai dato, stasera se ho tempo la provo.

per i purevideo è semplice.
inanzitutto consiglierei per i dvd di creare un profilo apposito perchè i dvd sono in anamorfico quindi occorre una gestione dei rapporti di aspetto diversa rispetto al materiale tradizionale.
quindi gestione configurazione
facciamo "salva come" e chiamiamo il profilo dvd. in caratteri mettiamo
la stringa //KMP-DVD in questo modo quando parte il dvd kmp si sposta su quel profilo. abbiamo fatto salva come quindi sarà identico al momento a quello di default. selezionamo questo nuovo profilo in altro a sx.
su opzioni dvd->decoder-> selezioniamo ricerca decoder esterno ed andiamo a cercare ed aggiungere alla lista il nvidia pure video (agg. codec di sistema).
in video mpg quindi nella scheda dvd mettiamo *nvidia pure video"
in navigatore dove c'è "disattiva filtro kmp video" lo attiviamo in questo modo e solo in questo modo la catena video sarà in HW. mettiamo dxva nel pure video ovviamente. possiamo provare anche in decoder l'opzione "usa il decoder interno per i dvd" questo userà le libcodec audio invece che l'ac3 filter.

metti "renderer video haali" come renderer video (sempre sotto la scheda "dvd").

no. la beta è un file ZIP che contiene tutti o quasi i file contenuti nella cartella \programm\the kmplayer. li scompatti li . ti dice certamente di sovrascrivere.

manca il file libcodec.dll che certamente in quello zip c'è
poi come renderer video per i dvd devi mettere haali renderer. ora c'e' ancora overlay (quello predefinito). opzioni dvd->renderer->video->renderer video=renderer video haali.
per la versione dell'exe è la 1317. in effetti in quello zip c'è quella ma è un errore. l'ultima è la 1387

clicca sull'icona arancione e copia il file kmplayer.exe in quella cartella sovrascrivendo quello attuale. in questo file c'e' solo il file exe dentro.

Ciao Red5. ho fatto come mi hai detto tu,ma, in opzioni dvd- renderer video- haali,avevo già settato "haali",(cosa che in effetti avevo già fatto ieri.)
Credo che per mettere renderer video haali sia giusto il metodo che ha suggerito un'altro utente in questo thread:
col mouse tasto destro, opzioni video avanzate, rendere video, spuntare renderer video haali.In questo modo funge

Però nel riassunto non capisco dove vedere il renderer Haali

1280x960 che non mi convince. ma l'immagine è corretta come proporzioni?

imho haali è il migliore renderer video esistente. con (alt-gr dx + O) quando scorre il video puoi avere un riassunto di cio che sta facendo il renderer video. il renderer video è l'interfaccia tra il pc e la scheda video. provvede anche ad upscalare l'immagine da quella che gli arriva a quella della scheda video.

ps: no, ho solo imparato da altri qui sul forum e continuo ad imparare. tutto qua. ci vuole solo un pò di testardaggine e non accontentarsi mai troppo del risultato. e non sono laureato

In effetti l'immagine mi sembra un pò più grande del normale.
Mi sembrava di averla settata regolarmente, ma con tutte le modifiche e gli smanettamenti che ho fatto può essere che abbia sbagliato o dimenticato qualcosa.
Appena a casa verifico la risoluzione del 2° display

più che grande direi che dovrebbe essere schiacciata verso l'alto. cioè in pratica in 16/9 anamorfico senza ridmensionamento.
