Prima di tutto nei link si parla della versione a950 che non sono sicuro al 100% che sia lo stesso tipo venduto in Italia e numerato a956.
In secondo luogo se leggi in uno dei 3 link viene anche specificato che anche per questo discorso è stato rilasciato un update che togliesse tale difetto..........

Inoltre ho letto tra i commenti su CNET che un utente ha trovato un modo sicuro per sapere la data di fabbricazione: pare che basti andare sul sito della Samsung alla pagina della registrazione prodotto, ed inserire il numero seriale. Il tizio dice:
"As soon as you enter the full serial no. of the product, the exact manufacturing date is provided. "
Cioè, non appena si inserisce il numero seriale, viene visualizzata la data ed il giorno di fabbricazione.

I ti dico che "fortunatamente" hanno trovato il modo visto che per la priva volta in assoluto samsung con questo lcd ha messo a disposizione un aggiornamento del firmware del tv senza più l'invio di tecnici ma tramite usb (ovviamente scaricabile dal sito).
Il sito si Samsung Usa evidentemente lo prevede perchè quello Italiano non funziona così.....

LED Motion Plus presente
Salve a tutti!!! Anch'io sono un utente molto interessato all'acquisto di questo televisore, anzi sono proprio in procinto di ordinarlo!
Seguo la discussione da un po di tempo, ma finora nessuno ha scritto chiaramente se la funzione LED Motion Plus è presente anche in questa versione europea del tv. Quindi chiedo ai possessori del televisore, come hamlet74, se questa funzione è abilitata o è possibile attivarla in qualche modo.

Ora mi sono letto per bene i manuali e (purtroppo) sembra proprio che il LED Motion Plus non sia disponibile nella versione europea del tv. 
Penso che dipenda dal fatto che l'elettronica della versione americana è diversa dalla nostra (non solo per i 120hz). Vabbé, almeno non è una funzionalità molto importante. Cmq se qualcuno, che ha il tv, potesse controllare... forse mi sbaglio e c'é (la speranza è sempre l'ultima a morire 
).

LED Motion Plus: c'é, ma non si vede!
Guardate cosa ho scoperto!
Il LED Motion Plus può essere attivato anche nei modelli europei del tv agendo sul menù di servizio del televisore; lo confermano gli utenti inglesi in possesso del tv!!! 
Purtroppo è meglio non metterlo in funzione... sembra infatti che non porti a nessun miglioramento visivo, anzi peggiori l'immagine!

Nell'ultima immagine il LMP è in funzione.
Questa è la procedura per accedere al "service menù" del televisore e attivare il LMP; così, solo per conoscerla:
"Select a channel showing a programme with sustained movement.
Put the TV back into STANDBY
Now press the following buttons in this exact sequence - INFO, MENU, MUTE, STANDBY
The TV will come on with the Service Menu displayed on the left-hand side of the screen whilst your fast-moving programme is playing behind it.
Use the down button to navigate to ADVANCED
Press ENTER immediately followed by the default access code of 0 0 0 0
Navigate to LD using the down button (you can't use left/right buttons to navigate across columns)
Press ENTER
Navigate to SCANNING again using down button
Press ENTER
Use left/ right buttons to alternate between 0 and 1 and observe effect on the background programme.
To save the setting as 1 and exit Service Menu, press STANDBY
Press STANDBY to restart TV as normal.
A cautionary note - It is advisable to record your customised settings for each source before entering the Service Menu. I found my Standard Menu settings were back to their defaults when I came out of the Service Menu. I suppose this would not be unreasonable to expect since you are making top level adjustments usually reserved for service engineers. Perhaps owners of other Samsung models can confirm this.
It is also worth noting that the European firmware has not been written to allow LED Motion Plus to appear under Picture Control, Detailed Settings on the Standard Menu once it has been activated. I can only assume that although our A956 and the American A950 are essentially the same model, Samsung's marketing department has deemed it necessary to differentiate them perhaps due to perceived Value For Money criteria".

"I changed the setting from 0 (OFF) to 1 (ON) and all I could notice was an immediate darkening of the screen. As this strobing technique is supposed to be a further improvement for motion blur I guess I need to observe the effect on a picture containing a lot of movement. Unfortunately the TV was receiving a programme with fairly static content (obviously you can't change channels having accessed the Service Menu) so I could not detect any marked improvement. Additionally, as this is my first LCD TV, I am not completely versed with the nuances of motion blur".

raga il 100hz motion plus ad alto crea una specie di disturbo sui bordi delle immagini in movimento, però lo rende più fluido, se lo disattivo, le immaggini non hanno più disturbo, ma viene l'effetto scia, cavolo non so quale sia meglio, proverò a mettere il motion plus da alto a basso sperando che in questo modo il problema si affievolisca trovando un buon compromesso.
voi cosa mi consigliate di fare a riguardo?
per il Led Motion Plus? qualcuno dal menù di servizio lo ha già attivato per provarlo? se si come si vede meglio o peggio? ma che dovrebbe fare, dovrebbe creare un terzo led virtuale tra i due led per migliorare la luminosita? (se ha la stessa logica del 100hz motion plus).

Finora "dal vivo" ho visto solo il Serie 7, ma non ho notato il difetto di cui tu parli , sebbene il Motion Plus fosse attivo e impostato su "Alto" nel televisore che ho visto.
Non so che dirti, mettilo a "basso".
Cmq il LED Motion Plus è tutt'altra cosa: il tv semplicemente spegne e riaccende molto velocemente tutti il LED ogni volta che l'immagine a schermo cambia, ovvero ogni frame; la Samsung dice che questa tecnologia riduce l'effetto scia causato dall'utilizzo dei LED al posto delle normali lampade per la retroilluminazione del tv...
