Il PN50C6500 è uguale al PS50C6500?
Ho riletto gran parte delle pagine indietro ma non mi sembra di averlo trovato...

I got a new PN50C6500 from ### a week ago. Very smooth purchase, fast delivery, no hard sell, "verification", or "upgrade" pitch. Higly recommend this seller.
Upgraded firmware, changed model in SM to C8000 (no problems, get CAL-DAY and NIGHT modes). Ran breakin images/full screen HD for about 5 days, then did a quick calibration. Used C5 profiled to i1Pro. Using 10 pt greyscale, was able to get almost prefect GS from 10 - 100. Total variation in drives was less than about 0.05% for the entire range. DeltaEs were far below 1 for the entire range. Gamma tracked pretty well at 2.26. NOTE: if you change the gamma selection in the User menu, all the calibration is changed substantially. Black level was decent at about 0.023 fL. Colors dialed in nicely - deltaEs were below 1.5 for everything except Blue, which was about 3.0. With more hours on the set, I'll probably be able to get this lower.
Impressions are very good. Most of my viewing is with Uverse cable, which compresses signal and results in crushed blacks. I normally need to reduce the color control by several clicks to get normal flesh tones. My reference monitor is a Sony CRT - 34XBR960. Using the same program material, the pictures are virtually identical. A remodel and WAF necissitated the decommissioning of my CRT, but this plasma looks like it will be a top-notch replacement. Absolutely NO buzzing.
Several threads ask if this set is substantially better than older Sammy plasmas - C850, B550, etc. I'd suggest that, if all of these are well calibrated, fed the identical signal under the same viewing conditions, the PQ would be essentially identical. There is no spectacular improvement with this set over the others, but this set can certainly compete. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.
