Hi, thank you very much for your interest in SilverStone. All currently shipping LC18 LCDs can support 1280 x 720 resolution, you can see what other resolutions are supported in the LC18 product page (see below the specification table):
http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-lc18.htm
We use the most expensive “Grade A” TFT screen available on the market (not recycled) for the LC18 so it not only has great color and brightness but we can also guarantee no dead pixels (if you get one, you can return the screen to us).
You can try contacting our customers such as ACE Computers in the link below for tips about running LC18 since they have build quite a few:

For connections, I recommend that you connect both projector and the screen directly to the VGA card for best clarity and flexibility.

Subject: LC18 with 1280x720 projector resolution
Hello,
I'm interested in your product LC18. I currently own a Panasonic AE500 projector which uses 1280x720 60Hz resolution. How does the 7" tft work in this resolution? Does it support it and has it been tested?
I have followed the discussion about your competitors product X15e and it is having a lot of difficulties with this resolution? Are you using the same tft?
Is there any place where I can find more information about tft, cooling and silencing this case? Or your recommendations?
Is it better to do the connections 1) from one vga to projector and another vga to tft or 2) from one vga to projector and tft with Y -cable.
Best regards
