Non avevo dubbi che avresti cavalcato l'onda dell'unica frase a favore del 930...

Steve è un calibratore davvero molto preparato ma la sua preferenza, come è normale che sia, scaturisce da una media pesata di tutte le variabili in gioco, e questa (entro certi limiti) è soggettiva. Può essere che sia rimasto talmente affascinato dal nero assoluto che non ne possa più fare a meno, oppure l'assenza di dithering, che so. Resta il fatto che del 930 fa tutto un elenco di difetti che esistono (tranne a quanto pare quello del near black crush), e su cui altri non sorvolerebbero mai (me compreso). Ne cito uno a caso, David Mackenzie, che quanto a preparazione tecnica pongo alla pari di Steve Kemp (entrambi ISF), non avrebbe mai "mollato" lo ZT (voto reference) per il 930 (voto raccomended).

Mi sembra che i miglioramenti con il 960 siano importanti, però vorrei vedere una review completa.

Si è quello.. per averlo è come comprare 4 plasma ZT60, o 3 65' VT60 a 3000€ l'uno circa

le nostre case saranno presto invase da una moltitudine di Oled 4K di fascia media, come questo nuovo 970V, a questi prezzi per un 65' tempo un anno e avremmo le discariche piene di pannelli old-gen

No ma l'EC970 era quello che doveva uscire l'anno scorso, prenotato da qualcuno qui del forum a 4000 euro, e mai veramente uscito sul mercato!!
Di tutta quella rece non ho capito il discorso sul livello nero HDMI, io se metto high sulla mia tv (ma ho un htpc forse per questo?) viene fuori uno schifo anche abbassando la brightness (devo proprio metterla a zero per avere un minimo di nero)

A me pareva tutto tranne un'inserzione seria, senza la benchè minima foto e addirittura senza nemmeno l'indicazione del modello!

Vedi, pero' questa non e' una vera e propria review, lui non si basa su una serie di test , qualche ora di visione e via, per lui il test e' sempre SideBside da ZT a 930 e da 930 a 960, tra i suoi tv che reputava in scala migliori uno all'altro.
Lui stesso dice:

All sets have traits, you need to be aware of them, and compare them when buying. You then should consider what you can live with and what is a deal breaker and make your choice. I can’t stress this enough, you should go and look at your prospective purchase. The reviews of the new Samsung 9000 and 9500 I’ve read seem impressive, having now played with one in the flesh I would recommend considering last years’ sets as quite simply these new models take garish images to another level and the off axis image is unwatchable and the quantum dot layer cause colour to go blotchy, again you should look for yourself.
That is exactly what I did when looking at the 930 VS the ZT and decided that the image fidelity advantages over the shortcoming of both sets resulted in my decision to sell the ZT and move to the 930. And the same again, with the 930 to the 960.
This is not a fully-fledged review that you see on other sites, we will leave that to them, this is a comparison of two correctly set up models performing to the maximum of their abilities. Calibration charts are great for helping to get a set tracking correctly but have little relevance unless the set they represent is actually in front of you. Most sets today will deliver a decent looking chart, which certainly does not always mean decent final image. So really they are of little relevance.'

Percio' forse fermarsi hai solo 'Reference' o 'High Raccomended' puo' esser si uno spunto per capire come sia il tv,

E che ti aspettavi da un lcd? che solo modificando il colore dei led della retroilluminazione diventassero Oled? Samsung cerca di gabbare i poveri utenti da supermercato che in campo video "credono" di essere competenti ma in realtà non sanno nemmeno il principio di funzionamento delle varie tecnologie (plasma, lcd, oled). Purtroppo il 90% degli acquirenti è quello e continuerà a foraggiare Samsung che è solo brava ad inventare nomi altisonanti (vedi S-UHD) e mettere tanti gadget su tv lcd con prestazioni mediocri (comparati agli Oled). Tutti contenti al supermercato in fila a comprare il quantum dot super ultra accaddì.
