Dopo essermi goduto alla grandissima il mio sharp 46xd1e, soprattutto con il toshiba hd ex1(anche con i dvd) e con la ps3 per blue ray e hd dvd, sto già progettando il mio prossimo acquisto, che andrà a completare per un pò la mia triade(sharp 46 xd1e votato soprattutto a pc,giochi e internet; epson tw 1000 sala cinema e per l'appunto pio full hd lx508 per tv e sky,sd e hd)
Vi preannuncio che sto cominciando già a muovermi,nonostante le attese siano per settembre ottobre. A fine giugno arriveranno gli hd ready e vi dico già che per chi è interessato sto preparandomi ad organizzare un mega cobuy per il full hd da 50(visto che mi interessa) ma vi dico già che anche per gli hd ready mi potrò interessare visto i miei contatti con pio nel caso in cui gli amici del forum siano numerosi.
Nel frattempo cercherò di trovare tutte le specifiche anzitempo interessanti oltre alle foto of course

OK, before I answer, let me say this, I am a Pioneer dealer. I thought it worth mentioning this straight away, however my opinions below are my honest opinions based on what I saw, not based on the fact that I am a Pioneer dealer!

1. Black Levels.

AMAZING! The difference between previous gen plasmas, including the 5000EX was nothing short of spectacular. In fact on one of the screens showing Star Wars DVD, my colleague and I both had to get right up close to the screen to see where the screen bezel ended and the actual screen began!

2. Shadow detail and Picture Noise.

Both these seem to be improved on previous gen models, however I only saw DVD and Blu-Ray sources on these screens, and I would prefer to see both HD and SD sources before saying that these improvements are significant.

3. Colour/Sharpness.

Again both significantly improved. We were shown some clips off a Blu-Ray dem disc using Pioneer's own BR player, feeding a 508XD and a 5000EX simultaneously. Now keeping in mind that the 5000EX is a 1080 panel and the 508XD a 720, I would say that the 508XD was at least 5 times better, in every respect. Just goes to show resolution ain't everything!

4. Fast motion.

We were shown a dem disc which featured a lot of fast moving images both "real" images (a camera filming a brightly coloured road side from a car as it was driving) and a test card which scrolled across the screen. Now the purposes of the dem was to show how much better the screen was compared to a LCD (Sony W series by the way), however even in isolation you could see how could motion tracking was, each individual detail could be tracked by the eye as it went from right to left.

Would I buy one? Definitely! Overall, I have got to say that the new Pioneer screens really are a massive step up from, in my opinion, an already good screen. Expect pricing to be around £1,800 for the 427XD and £2,500 for the 508XD.

Anceh se qui siamo off topic questo per me è il range per sky box sd collegata in scart rgb(l'hdmi è impossibile fare meglio per la sd visto lo scaler interno penoso):

Retroilluminazione 0 (range -1/3)
Contrasto 31 (range 29-33)
Luminosità -2 (range -4/0)nb su sport + e serie tv liv. + basso
Colore -6 (range -9/-5)
Tonalità 0 (range 0-4)
Nitidezza 2 (range 0-4)
Temp. colore Medio


I range indicati sono quelli secondo me validi per trovare il setting giusto a seconda dei gusti personali e delle trasmissioni che si guardano.

Per la cronaca i full hd avranno 20000:1 di contrasto(allucinante davvero) contro i 16.000:1 degli hd ready,tutti avranno 3 hdmi 1.3 e fanno mapping 1:1 perfetto(ma solo su due delle tre hdmi) supportando i 1080 p a 24 hz(i full anche a 50 e 60 hz ottimi per i pc)
Unica pecca??? in Vga si fermano tutti a 1280x1024.Peccato.....
Ma con 3 hdmi e con la component che supporta i 1080p sinceramente.......

Il prodotto e' veramente notevole,ti volevo chiedere x un futuro cobuy,secondo te (viste le tue conoscenze)che percentuale di sconto si potra' spuntare sui Fullhd da 50 e 60 ?!

Capisco l'entusiasmo che daltronde ha contagiato anche me: ma mio caro preferisco che non me l'appoggi anche perchè solitamente sono io farlo al gentil sesso e basta....

In anticipo non posso conoscere lo sconto perchè ancora il listino prezzi non è stato definito con esattezza(si sanno le cifre indicative ma ancora non sono definitive) e soprattutto al di là del prezzo di listino non si conoscono ancora quelli di carico ai rivenditori......
Di sicuro verrà decisamente meno del listino ma di quanto ancora non si sa
