[Western Digital WDTV Live HD] Media player con ethernet e dts

Salve ragazzi,
ho un problema con la visualizzazione di alcuni filmati su youtube.
In sostanza, quando provo a riprodurli, il wdtv live mi segnala con un messaggio su schermo che "questo filmato non puo' essere visualizzato con questo lettore perche' non e' consentito dall'autore del filmato" (non dice proprio cosi'...ma il senso e' questo).
Il messaggio esce fuori solo con alcuni filmati ed e' molto fastidioso...
Sapete per caso se il firmware B-rad soffre dello stesso problema.

L'uscita spdif del wdtv live, qualunque sia la definizione del file audio (44/16, 96/24 o 192... etc) riduce sempre a 48/16, quindi se hai un dac esterno che supporta audio a maggior frequenza sei limitato, se invece ascolti audio dall'uscita del wd live o lo colleghi ad un dac che lavora a 44/16 (risoluzione del cd audio normale) non hai nessuna limitazione, anzi va alla grande.

Ciao a tutti, ho trovato sul sito mediaworld in offerta il WD a 99€ anzichè 129€. Siccome mi fido poco delle promozioni, è l'oggetto giusto o una vecchia versione ?
Lo prenderei con adattatore usb wifi Sitecom WL329 a 34,90€ o DLink DWA131 a 24,90€
Per l'hdd da dedicarci sono ancora indeciso ... ma continuo a cercare

da una rapida lettura del manuale, sul primo a parte le funzioni per gli USA c'è scritto pronto per il wifi e sul secondo no, anche se poi in fondo ai 2 manuali c'è scritto come connetterli ad una rete cablata e una wifi.
Sul primo c'è una gestione ottimizzata del play ff rew dei filmati.
Ma in prestazioni e qualità non cambia nulla giusto??

Quando devono fixare qualche bug fanno cosi'... poi passano anche mesi senza una release, infatti io aspetto sempre.Poi ci sono le festivita' e quindi devono far vedere che il prodotto e' sempre in evoluzione ...

I sottotitoli PGS negli m2ts sono supportati con gli ultimi firmware? o magari con una rel. custom?
...con la versione che ho in uso(1.01.17) non li legge..

l'evoluzione portata dopo sei mesi di lavoro sarebbe? flingo, facebook e l'utilissima app metereologica? caspita!

l'ultimo fw (non ho provato l' 1.03.49 ma solo questo 1.04.10) da me funziona correttamente, ma è lento da far paura, lo switch dei canali audio non funziona bene e non indica l'audio selezionato, serve fargli fare almeno un giro, e con calma.. gli effetti di transizione magia non funzionano più (complimenti a chi ha fatto i test di non regressione prima di rilasciare i fw..) e dopo più di dodici mesi abbiamo ancora la fantastica traduzione "8/12 morso"

il bello è che morso in inglese è "bite", non bit e non byte. neanche il traduttore automatico freeware più idiota farebbe questo errore

sicuramente ai patiti di facebook farà piacere sapere che ora si può collegare una tastiera usb, per il resto che dire.. provo imbarazzo per wd e mi tengo stretto il fw custom.

oldbrand7 hai assolutamente ragione su tutto. Io ho tenuto la vecchia beta (la .43, mi pare) che almeno sul mio sistema risulta più stabile dei recenti aggiornamenti.

Su una cosa però hai torto.

Bite in inglese è "mordere". Bit invece, chiaramente non in questo contesto, si traduce generalmente con "morso".

so che si può dire "a little bit of.." , ma quello è un errore troppo comico e mai corretto!

cmq il "bite" è anche 'apparecchio ortodontico che ad esempio usano i motociclisti, e tutte le persone che stringono i denti la notte.. appunto il "morso". insomma è sbagliato in tutti i casi, soprattutto se usato al plurale.

tornando al fw di recente ho tolto il cavo hdmi tra wd e ampli, sostituendolo col cavo ottico (l'hdmi lo mando direttamente al tv così evito quei 2 secondi di buio quando accendo l'ampli).

chi usa l'hdmi tra ampli e wd dovrebbe controllare se c'è il downsampling audio sui file campionati a oltre 48KHz, perchè burmar ha già confermato che con l'ottico non c'è niente da fare (anche se un file video di test dts/96 viene letto correttamente col mio ampli).

80 euro stava e 120 l'hard disk esterno,mi sembrano ottimi prezzi
speriamo arrivi presto
consigli da dare su cosa fare appena arrivato?

* Open Network Share isn't available for WD TV Live. Worked before version 1.03.49_V and 1.04.10_V.

ma come stanno questi? ci mancava pure di inserire facebook....mabbbastaaaa per favore!!! a cosa serve in un oggetto simile?? a maggior ragione se poi per inserirlo devo piallare e riempire di bug un firmware che funzionava senza grossi problemi. Tra l'altro l'unica cosa che servirebbe davvero (almeno per quanto mi riguarda) è il discorso del 24hz.
Invece che inserire facebook fate una bella gestione dei metadata anche per i film....mymovies docet
