Per un totale di 46 film rilasciati nello stesso periodo(fino a fine maggio). Mi sembra difficile che distribuendo 5 film in meno hd dvd riesca a superare il numero di film blu ray totale a fine maggio.

Un discorso ancora più sibillino è stato fatto per i 126 film annunciati.
In pratica quelle che ho postato sono le date fissate, come si può vedere per entrambi più o meno arrivano fino alla prima di giugno, poi ci sono titoli annunciati ma al momento senza data. Bene per quanto riguarda blu ray questi titoli non sono stati contati mentre per hd dvd sono già stati contati tutti i titoli universal. Infatti universal ha detto che durante l'anno lancerà 100 hd dvd, se a questo sommate i titoli di altri studios già con una data di uscita ottenete proprio il 126. Ovviamente per blu ray invece vengono contati solo i film con una data precisa, se annunciati e basta non si contano Ecco spiegato perchè hd dvd ha numeri maggiori di blu ray, due pesi e due misure.

I dati veri sono che attualmente ci sono 115 film annunciati ma senza data per hd dvd e 160 per blu ray. Ovviamente un film può essere annunciato ora e distribuito l'anno prossimo. Lo dico per correttezza.

I numeri degli studios son corretti anche se non tengono conto dell'impegno che ci mettono... Che uno studio sforni 10 titoli al mese o 10 titoli l'anno sempre uno vien contato...

Se non altro, la battaglia tra i due contendenti ha ottenuto lo scopo di ridurre i prezzi dei lettori. Dovendo essere realisti però, alla fine uno dei due soccomberà ed al momento il più debole sempra proprio essere lo standard Toshiba.
Non ultima, aggiungiamo la possibilità ANCHE di scegliere il lettore (o registratore) BD come evidenziato da http://www.blu-ray.com/players/ tra una pluralità di marche e prodotti che il formato concorrente non è in grado di offrire.
