Nel tuo caso devi indagare sul processore.
Se a 24p con l'altro lettore funziona, cerca di capire che timing usa e forzali sull'ingresso che ospita la PS3. Potrebbe essere che a livello di Edid il VP50 interpreta poco correttamente o troppo rigidamente i parametri attesi

Altra domandina sul lettore BD della PS3

Innanzitutto ciao a tutti (visto che sono nuovo del forum).

Avrei una domandina che credo per voi sia facile ma a me fà perdere la testa .....anzi di domande ne ho 2.

La prima è questa. Ho un LCD Samsung 46F86BD quindi 100 Hz Fulld HD e quando guardo un blu ray cn la PS3 vedo, nelle scene più movimentate, una specie di scia attorno alle cose/persone che si muovono velocemente. E' più un'alone che una scia e segue gli oggetti in movimento veloci. La mia domanda quindi è questa: può essere un settaggio della PS3 per quando riguarda la parte video oppure della tv o è una cosa che succede solo a me ? L'altra cosa che vorrei chiedere è questa. Sempre con la PS3 (sia giochi che film di qualunque tipo) vedo delle onde bianche che scorrono; per capirci è un pò come nelle televisioni di 20 anni fà quando sotto ad una trasmissione ne vedevi un'altra solo che qui sono solo onde bianche. Anche qui è un settaggio sbagliato o cosa ???

Dimenticavo di dire che TV e PS3 sono collegate tra loro tramite cavo HDMI sony playstation.

Non dipende dalla PS3. Prova a disabilitare qualche filtro del Tv (relativo al movimento)... e vedi se ti migliora. Per la seconda cosa non saprei cosa dirti...

Comprati un Plasma
Skerzo ovviamente..sicuramente come dice highlander dipende dai filtri,in queste tv non fanno altro che peggiorare le cose...

Ciao, era da tanto che non postavo più e per prima cosa mando un saluto a tutti gli utenti del forum
vorrei grazie al vostro aiuto, risolvere un problema-dubbio riguardo al collegamento di una ps3
ad un vecchio videopriettore dlp sharp pgm20x.
Premetto che fino ad ora l'ho usato per anni attaccato ad un pc per la visione dei dvd, ora vorrei comprare una ps3 per godere della visione dei bluray ma ho vari dubbi.
Lo sharp ha solo un ingresso DVI lo posso collegare con qualche adattatore alla PS3 ?
La risoluzione nativa è di "solo" 1024x768 comunque sempre maggiore del formato dvd, è possibile vedere i bluray ad almeno 1024x768 oppure no? se cosi non fosse sarebbe inutile comprare la ps3.
E' vero che anche nella visione dei dvd con la ps3 si ha un miglioramento della qualità dell'immagine?

A dire il vero, il mio sogno sarebbe stato l'accoppiata ps3 con il nuovo videoproiettore panasonic PT AE2000 full hd, ma non me lo posso permettere...

La Ps3 è collegata in HDMI al sintoampli Onkyo905 il quale va al Dila in hdmi tramite il Processore video.
Bene : impostata sulla PS3 la risoluzione 1080/24p in uscita, Suggerimenti?

Hola tua stessa configurazione ma con il VP50 e tutto funziona a dovere (24P!!!): come hai impostato l'uscita della PS3 a 24: auto o l'altra opzione??

La cosa strana è che sembrerebbe non arrivarci nulla al vp50 : dal tasto "info" viene fuori che non c'è nessun segnale in ingresso.
Che sia un problema dell'Onkyo?

Controllato ieri: PS3 24 impostata su automatica... va all'Onkyo 905 (in passthrought totale) via Hdmi e da qui sempre in Hdmi al DVDO VP50 e poi al JVC.

Tutto Ok coi 24 rilevati dalle info del VP50

Non saprei cosa dirti... inizia a levare un componente alla volta e vedi qual'è quello che da il problema... magari anche un cavo????

AV Watch scored an interview with some of the engineers behind the frequent PlayStation 3 updates -- most recently adding BD-Live in 2.20 -- and uncovered details on what's been going on under the hood so far, as well as what to expect in the future. 1080 deinterlacing and DTS-HD MA support are definitely in the works, although no date is given. A possible answer why it's not there yet, is the indication that the just implemented mosquito noise reduction on MPEG-4 AVC videos uses less processing power than the original version of BD player software, which used 100% of resources for DVD upconversion, but now only maxes out on PiP streams with BD-Java running. For best PQ, play your digital files from disc or USB stick instead of DLNA, since they are currently processed differently. Otherwise, we can expect future updates quarterly, and for those beyond the reach of the net, updates are also packed onto discs, like the Resident Evil flick with 2.10 firmware on it. L'articolo contiene una serie succosissima di news, che sostanzialmente si basano sulla traduzione dal giapponese di un'intervista molto interessante al division manager, al director of network platforms e al Division 2 platform software development department chief di Sony (che qui viene sintetizzata):

* Apparently movie studios are satisfied with BD-Live functions in PS3. Its processing speed / graphics rendering is much faster than dedicated players and the performance gap won't get narrower soon. Even among current BD-Java titles, some are doing performance profiling in a loading screen and show richer effects on PS3. Such differentiation by player performance may happen for BD-Live too. It is not something special only for PS3, it's in the spec of the BD format.
* 2.20 has neither Managed Copy (w/ transcoding) nor Portable Copy (w/o transcoding, demoed at CES) implemented.
* In-game XMB is one of the features discussed at SCE, but they can't comment on the date and so on yet. Though some of the XMB functions are already available in-game by an update, not many games support them yet.
* To licensee developers, it was announced that 2.20 could reduce system memory resource usage a lot.
* The web browser runs faster and has better streaming support than before. Though they can't comment on which particular service they'll support at this point, it will be improved further.
* Though it's technically possible that PS3 charges fees for certain updates, they continue free updates as the basic concept of PS3 is a hardware that evolves with updates.
* Optical discs and media files (including DLNA) are played back through 2 different paths in PS3. Functions such as noise reduction are first implemented in the optical disc player, then some of them are applied to the media player. While an optical disc player only requires an implementation in the range of an official spec, a media player needs a different know-how or sometimes a new algorithm to support files authored by general users with varied encoding settings. The playback quality of AVCHD is currently higher when you open it from a disc or a memory stick than from a file in a folder.
* The main target of mosquito noise reduction is recordings from digital TV. It assumes a use case where a user plays a long MPEG-4 AVC file recorded on a BD. The upconversion in 1.80 was useless for a noisy movie, so noise reduction (not only the specific function of mosquito noise reduction, but also other filters) has been improved in 2.20.
* Though mosquito noise reduction is high on the processing load, the total load is lower than that of the first version of the PS3 BD player or 1.80. In 1.80, it was almost full load when upconverting a DVD, but not now due to optimization. Currently it doesn't reach full load unless it plays back 2 AVC streams in Picture-in-Picture while running high-load BD-Java.
* As for 1080 deinterlacing and DTS-HD MA, "please look forward to them."
* The LTH support took time since they had to test it with a LTH disc recorded with a Sony BD recorder.
* The update schedule is not different from before, basically a large update is once in a quarter. However the next update may be soon because of the PS Store.
* It's recommended to update a PS3 since BD titles with new encryption keys start to appear. Though 1.80 already has the latest key, image quality in the latest firmware is a lot better. An updater for PS3 is also contained in some movie titles. The Blu-ray version of Resident Evil 3 has a 2.10 updater.

Qualche post più in basso, lo stesso utente (che evidentemente mastica il giapponese più di me ) comunica che il firmware 2.30 sarà disponibile dal prossimo 15 aprile. L'aggiornamento è però limitato al restyling del Playstation Store.


Dio mio... possedere questo "mostro" tecnologico è una continua sorpresa positiva (vedi AFdigitale corrente...), confermata di giorno in giorno: Sony sia da esempio alle altre aziende per puntualità e qualità del supporto!

cosa? comunque spero di vedere un giorno dei controlli fine per il video: contrasto,luminosità,definizione,curva del gamma ecc,e equalizzazione audio.
