Hai verificato anche lo stato di "salute" degli harddisk? Lo fai dalle pagine di amministrazione del QNAP, nella parte relativa al RAID management (se non ricordo male). Hai provato anche a fare uno scan (sempre dalle pagine di amministrazione) per controllare lo stato dei dischi?
Credo, a questo punto, che possiamo escludere la LAN dalle possibili fonti di problemi.

Ora, arrivare a capire perchè si creano dei colli di bottiglia non è così semplice. Bisognerebbe effettuare uno sniffing del traffico in entrata e uscita da pc a nas e viceversa. Potrebbero esserci dei malformed packet che mandano in crisi l'interfaccia.

Dovresti settare l'utenza "Everyone" o "Guest"(probabilemente quest'ultima visto che i qnap hanno un os linux based) con permessi in lettura e scrittura sia in condivisione sia in protezione. Oppure setti i permessi in base elle esigenze degli utenti che devono accedere. Questa è, a mio parere, la metodologia migliore.

Quando tento di fare una qualsiasi modifica nel NAS, come creare una cartella oppure spostare un file. Non ho provato a caricare niente sinceramente!
Me lo fa sia con interfaccia file-manager ed anche se mi collego con explorer, da tutti i pc e con tutti gli account.
Se invece provo a vedere films o foto con il popcorn oppure con il pc allora è tutto OK.
Al nas ci accedo con firefox, digitando l'IP, oppure anche da Qnapfinder e poi connetti.
Adesso ho lanciato il controllo dischi (tutti e 4) mentre le altre volte avevo fatto "solo" il controllo del volume logico. In realta sto "check-disk" non si capisce bene a cosa corrisponde.
Penso che adesso macinerà per parecchio!

Hai provato a cambiare browser? Explorer (purtroppo) è il più compatibile, ma potresti anche provare con Chrome. L'amato Firefox nell'ultima versione dà diversi problemi di compatibilità, purtroppo.

Anche io uso stabilmente Firefox 5.0 e non ho problemi. Mi è venuta in mente una prova un pò balsana: provare a creare una directory da telnet. In pratica:
1. abiliti (se non lo hai già fatto) la connessione telnet sul QNAP (Network services - Telnet/SSH - "Allow Telnet connection"
2. entri in telnet nel qnap: dal prompt di comando DOS di windows (cmd) dai il comando: telnet <indirizzo ip del nas> <porta>. La porta di solito è la 13131 e la vedi nella schermata di configurazione
3. utente e password come al solito
4. dato che dovresti essere nella home directory dell'utente potrai creare una cartella dando il comando: mkdir prova
a questo punto hai creato una cartella "prova". Vedi come reagisce il nas.
Per cancellare la directory dai il comando "rmdir prova"
per uscire dal telnet basta che premi i tasti CTRL+D
E' giusto una prova, per cercare di capire cosa stà succedendo al tuo nas...

Un mio caro amico mi riferisce di aver installato con successo sul suo TS-119 come il mio uno dei nuovi hard disk da 3TB, peraltro formattato con il formattatore interno EXT-4 e non in GPT. Possibile? Non bisognava attendere l'uscita dei nuovi firmware per avere il supporto a questo tipo di HD?

Dopo ho fatto un bel ripristino generale del nas, con cancellazione di tutte le impostazioni, utenti e dati. Dal riavvio sembra che abbia ricominciato a funzionare, anche se non ho avuto il tempo di rimetterci i dati.
Io il nas però lo avevo preso per metterci tutti i dati importanti senza fare sempre copie di backup perchè alla fine o ti scordi o fai casino tra i vari HD. Ma vedo che neanche con un nas i dati sono al sicuro

Diciamo che i dati sono "al sicuro" da roture degli HD (dipende da che livello di RAID utilizziamo). Da "altri" malfunzionamenti purtroppo non siamo al sicuro, per questo i backup sono sempre da farsi. Io come soluzione trasparente ho optato per un piccolo QNAP sul il quale faccio i backup (ad essere precisi sincronizzo) del nas principale, il tutto schedulato, così da non pensarci più...
