[POPCORN HOUR A-400] Discussione ufficiale

Ciao, o acquistato il popcorn a400 usato, però non riesco a vedere i files mkv che ho nell'hard disk, con il wd tv e con il dune 303 non avevo problemi, ora, con il popcorn hour a400 avvio la riproduzione (da hard disk esterno), parte la rotella e, dopo qualche secondo torna sull'elenco dei film.

Nel prossimo weekend proverò, qualora volessi poi aggiornare ai vari firmware successivi (visto i problemi che aveva con la versione base) dove potrò trovarli tutti?

Ti colleghi e nel menu procedi all'operazione di upgrade online, a meno che - per motivi imperscrutabili - non ci tenga a farla con chiavetta. L'operazione ti scaricherà e poi installerà automaticamente l'ultimo firmware disponibile.
Cura solo che non vada via la corrente nel corso dell'operazione!

Avviene sempre così. A volte passano giorni, a volte settimane. Ma dopo che viene testato sui volontari, se non mostra di dare problemi viene rilasciato ufficialmente.

Ti ringrazio. Il fatto che questo fw beta non lo si scarichi dal sito ufficiale mi aveva fatto sospettare che fosse stato preparato da "non-professionisti"...

Quando conviene aggiornare? Notizierete il rilascio ufficiale qui nel topic? Si aggiorna solo da internet?

Puoi aggiornare tramite l'apposita funzione contenuta nel menu. Lì appaiono solo gli aggiornamenti ufficiali. Le Release Candidate (RC) e poi le Beta version sono per i pionieti appasionati o per chi ha un problema che nel log del nuovo firmware vede risolto e ritiene di non voler aspettare. In quel caso scarica il nuovo firmware, lo carica su un device e prpcede all'aggiornamento.

Grazie mille, attendo una release ufficiale. Ne approfitto per chiedere se qualcuno ha trovato un cavo usb 3.0 da maschio type B a femmina jack A.

Edit: trovato in Cina, vediamo se funziona quando arriva, in teoria dovrebbe eliminare i saltuari problemi di freezing in lettura da usb 2.0
