Non ho messo l'ip fisso ma ho settato il router perchè associ sempre lo stesso ip allo stesso mac address... penso sia la stessa cosa, o no?badtoys ha detto:

MyIHome è il server http per lo streaming da PC via rete. Così puoi aggiungere al PCH altre tipologie di fonti (visto che il PCH normalmente lo si usa prelevando video/musica/foto dall'HDD interno, da quelli USB collegati, via SMB/NFS, via internet).
Va detto che il protocollo usato è quello in assoluto più leggero (e veloce) fra quelli sopra menzionati (tranne la lettura dall'HDD interno/USB s'intende)

Scusate davvero ho un po' di timore a fare questa domanda , ho cercato nel 3ad ma non ho trovato soluzione.
Dopo aver letto il forum mi sono deciso a prendere il pch funziona abbastanza bene , quasi tutti i file vengono letti senza problemi alcuni mi dice che non puo' leggerli.... ma va bene cosi'...
il problema e' che anche al telefono con l'assistenza non sono riuscito a far vedere il pch al mio pc ho capito che con l'hug di fastweb era impossibile cosi' ho preso un router con 5 porte ( cosi' finalmente i miei figli possono usare il pc e la ps3 connessi wifi senza succhiarsi tutti gli ip di fastweb) ho connesso il tutto e funziona bene via ftp vedo il pch lo vedo anche inserendo l'ip seguito da :8080 direttamente da explorer ( quindi la rete funziona)
ma non ho assolutamente capito come inserire il popcorn tra le risore di rete le ho provate tutte c'e' qualche anima pia che mi descrive il procedimento passo passo??
ho letto i pdf del primo messaggio in prima pagina ma essendo tradotti automaticamente non li ho capiti!!

mux MKV e AC3

mi sono letto il thread ma non mi pare di aver visto nulla di simile. Progetto: prendo un film in mkv in alta definizione con audio in inglese (tipicamente dagli states), prendo il dvd in italiano dello stesso film. Demuxo l'audio in italiano con DVDdecrypter e lo rimuxo con il mkv con mkvmergeGUI.
Problema 1: il Italia abbiamo 25fps (PAL) mentre in US hanno 23.97fps (NTSC) quindi la durata del film è diversa (per non parlare del delay che non è sempre lo stesso)
Soluzione 1: foglio excel, formuletta per il controllo e la verifica del fattore di conversione; apro mkvmergeGUI, metto in input il file mkv e il file ac3 ottenuto con dvedecrypter, selezione l'audio italiano e nel tab format specific options aggiusto delay e Stretch by:. Vado con il muxing e ottengo un file perfetto che nel pc non da nessuno problema.
Problema 2: vado a riprodurlo con il popcorn e l'audio è inascoltabile (va a scatti e/o gracchia a seconda, credo, del delay e del fattore di stratch che però è più o meno sempre lo stesso)
Soluzione 2: non lo so... qui mi serve il vostro aiuto... chi ha provato a farlo? Ci siete riusciti? Come avete fatto?

Ciao a tutti,
mi sto iniziando ad appassionare all'apparecchietto visto che ha un certo seguito e sopratutto visto che i FW si susseguono con una certa frequenza, segno, a mio modesto parere, che la comunità dietro al PCH è parecchio attiva e che gli sviluppatori stanno con gli occhi e le orecchie ben spalancati alle richieste del mondo esterno.
Ma veniamo al mio titolino:
giacché l'unica cosa che proprio non mi piace é proprio l'estetica avete notizia se in giro ci siano dei case alterntivi compatibili con il PCH o se ci siano degli ardimentosi che si siano lanciati in modding estremi per renderlo più gradevole?

Problema audio
Ciao a tutti,
ho appena acquistato il Poppy con installato un Hard Disk da 500 gb.
Collegandolo alla mia Tv Plasma Panasonic (max res 720p) tramite component vedo tutto alla perfezione ma non sento l'audio.
Come posso fare?
Nel Setup ho flaggato l'audio stereo e tolto l'uscita audio HDMI e anche l'audio 5.1 ma anche così non funziona!
Come faccio?
Aiutate un pover niubbo.

Allora...visto che dovresti avere il modello "americano" ovvero senza presa scart,procurati un cavetto audio (rosso+bianco) da collegare in uscita dal Popcorn (appunto sulle uscite marcate dai colori rosso+bianco) e collega l'altra estemita' al tv (vicino all'ingresso component) alle relative connessioni (rosso+bianco) e vedrai che tutto funziona.
Un consiglio...se disponi di un Panasonic con ingresso HDMI...mooolto meglio codesta connessione con settaggio del Popcorn a 1080P 50Hz.....
Riabilita pero' l'audio su HDMI....

Attualmente il mio salvatore...
Per quanto riguarda la TV non è Full Hd e non ha connessione HDMI ma mi sto per trasferire (vado a convivere) e ho comprato un TV LCD Samsung 40f86bd Full Hd e proverò quello che mi hai consigliato.
Per sfruttarti a dovere posso chiederti un'ultima cosa se hai tempo?
ho letto tutti i vari post del forum ma è stata fatta molta confusione e i link delle guide tradotte non sono piu funzionanti:
- purtroppo non trovo così comodo (come era il Sarotech Abigs) il poppy nel trasferimento files (anche se ho solo un giorno d'esperienza!) infatto con il sarotech usavo un normale cavo USB e collegandolo al PC trasferivo tutto ciò che volevo.
Avendo un HD interno montato e non avendo esperienza di NFS o http o SBP vorrei sapere come posso fare, se puoi spiegarmelo sempre con le parole da fanciullo, a trasferire files video al poppy hd interno?
per piacere è l'unica cosa veramente che mi sta deludendo ma non posso pensare che il sarotech fosse meglio.
Ti prego un modo da "mongolo" per passare sti benedetti files.

Per quanto riguarda la TV non è Full Hd e non ha connessione HDMI ma mi sto per trasferire (vado a convivere) e ho comprato un TV LCD Samsung 40f86bd Full Hd e proverò quello che mi hai consigliato.

posso chiederti un'ultima cosa se hai tempo?ho letto tutti i vari post del forum ma è stata fatta molta confusione e i link delle guide tradotte non sono piu funzionanti:
- purtroppo non trovo così comodo (come era il Sarotech Abigs) il poppy nel trasferimento files (anche se ho solo un giorno d'esperienza!) infatto con il sarotech usavo un normale cavo USB e collegandolo al PC trasferivo tutto ciò che volevo.
Avendo un HD interno montato e non avendo esperienza di NFS o http o SBP vorrei sapere come posso fare, se puoi spiegarmelo sempre con le parole da fanciullo, a trasferire files video al poppy hd interno?
per piacere è l'unica cosa veramente che mi sta deludendo ma non posso pensare che il sarotech fosse meglio.
Ti prego un modo da "mongolo" per passare sti benedetti files.

- increased subtitle font size to 32 max, swiched to cleaner method
- subitle time adjust now from -1000sec to +1000sec

How to change the "skins" of your NMT UI:
1. Obtain _theme_.zip from release package or download from www.popcornhour.com/download/_theme_.zip
2. Unzip and modify existing graphics as you wish, but maintain the dimension and filename
3. Modify .config file in root of _theme_ folder to change the colors of the text, color attributes is same as in HTML, e.g. RRGGBB, #RRGGBB, "green", "white-alpha", "black"
4. Copy entire _theme_ folder to the NMT harddisk's Photo folder
5. Reboot (Power + Eject) and new theme will be loaded
Il bello è che si possono condividere le periferiche usb collegate al PCH e inserire temi personalizzati per cambiare lo sfondo, le icone e le scritte
