The BD3800 was optimized by Denon engineer, same for the LX-91. Even Denon people agreed there has difference with the LX-91 drank it' S almost the double price in Japan.
There has long comparison between Sony and Pioneer. Both calibrated and optimized by to their own engineer (Sony and Pioneer). Off race there is not has huge difference in video the.

Yew you want more detail one LX-91/S5000
- Image much more 3 dimentional (even my wife noticed it)
- Contrast is stronger without saturating the image. Sony has little less good one this

- The movement are smoother with the LX-91, it always x-ray look one.

- For DVDs, The LX-91 is far from anything in the world, even DVDO processor. We was watching the brotherhood off the wolves, and it was looking ace good ace my HD-DVD version. Summon people thought it has blue-ray. No noise, No fake line in the upscaling. Then we compared with the Realta off the denon BD3800 and it was so much worse, even I approved it was the best until now.

Ma il Denon DVD-3800BD non è un profilo 1.1 ? Hanno cambiato nuovamente specifiche ?
Comunque a parità di prezzo si acquista il migliore, che al momento risulta essere il Pio.

Si ma ... il 3800 in quella comparativa era presente solo per "cortesia", in quanto il vero lettore che tutti si aspettavano di vedere era il nuovo sacd/dvd-a/bd/dvd bd1ud (mi sembra sia questa la sigla). L'hanno visto, ma spento, non era ancora funzionante e per questo Denon aveva portato un 3800 "tappabuchi".
Su avs c'è tutta la storia raccontata da un utente presente in quanto operatore del settore.

Il Master Audio è confermato, bisogna solo aspettare l'aggiornamento firmware. Con ogni probabilità le macchine in vendita in europa, in Italia in particolare, saranno già aggiornate e compatibili con il MA. Per essere presenti sul mercato americano e giapponese in tempo hanno anticipato l'uscita col "buco" del MA.

il dvd a1ud non lo prendo neanche in considerazione visto che a me interessano al 90% i blu ray e non so se sia migliore dell ' lx91 sotto questo aspetto ...e poi 4000€ so troppi penso sia un prodotto a parte da non paragonare con i semplici lettori bluray

da qui ad un anno non sappiamo nemmeno se il bluray esistera' ancora... In campo tecnologico mai fare progetti a lunga scadenza.
Comunque se pongono rimedio alla lacuna di cui sopra il 91 diventa un'alternativa assai ghiotta, magari e' la volta buona che mando in pensione il bd10.
Se ne riparla comunque verso aprile, mese in cui guardacaso cade il mio compleanno...
