Problemino RIHD
Good morning,
I have a serious problem with the Onkyo RIHD that don't recognize the devices linked on 5007.
This problem occurred five-six days ago.
First of this time absolutely no problem it was.
The Onkyo is linked to the output with a Toshiba 46SV685D (with regza-link always ok, never problems since a week ago) and the input are Oppo BDP-83, Samsung DSB-P990N, Telesystem TS7900HD and Toshiba XE-1.
The only that recognize (with RIHD and Toshiba Regza-link both ON) is Oppo linked at the n.1 HDMI input.
First I can adjust Onkyo volume level with the Toshiba TV remote, now isn't possible!
I have tried all the possible human solutions for tring to avoid this problem, but with no success.
Is a firmware problem?
I ask you a big HELP!
Many thanks.
Yours sincerely.
Oggi mi hanno risposto così:
Thank you very much for your message and your interest in ONKYO products. You have reached the support/help desk for ONKYO Europe.
Regarding CEC unfortunately we can no guaranty full functionally with all external brands and models.
Unfortunately we have no experience here with e.g. "Regaza" link and the new av-receivers.
In general this function is available.
But depending on the units combination it is possible that not all functions of "Rgaza" are available.
The best way is it to check this at your ONKYO dealer if it is possible.
However, Power Control (in addition HDMI control set to Enabled) might work even for non-CEC enabled devices, but again we can not guarantee correct function.
When HDMI control is set to Enabled, the receiver is ready to react and could not be put into the real stand-by mode, in this case you have a higher stand-by power consumption.
