JRiver 17 e versioni successive

stealth avresti voglia/tempo per descrivere passo passo l'uso di DRC per il multicanale? ho cercato ovunque ma non ho trovato nulla.
in particolare avrei dubbi sul sub, lo sweep di questo canale come deve essere fatto? tagliando a 180 Hz?

In realtà no, deve essere misurato assieme ad un altro canale, per es. il centrale, con il classico sweep. Il sub deve essere tagliato 2 ottave sopra il taglio effettivo che avrà quando in esecuzione; es. se il taglio è 80Hz allora 320Hz.

Queste cose al momento le faccio con JRiver, intendo tagli e sweeps. Registro con Audacity. Purtroppo solo DirectSound. L'importante però è mantenere lo stesso driver sia per il playback che per il recording.

Ero già passato sull'htpc... si vede che sono proprio negato!

a me non da modo di selezionarli...

I LAV filters si attivano da soli, sono integrati in JRiver, non devi fare proprio niente per usarli.

LAV Filters/LAVFSplitter is a set of DirectShow filters and splitters. It uses libavformat, the ffmpeg demux library that supports almost all the common video formats.

Currently, the list of supported and tested formats and features include:

MKV/WebM, AVI, MP4/MOV, MPEG-TS, FLV, OGG are tested and will be registered for. Other formats can be tested using GraphStudio.
H264, VC-1, MPEG4-ASP (Divx/Xvid), VP8 have been tested and are working well.
DTS, AC3, TrueHD, MP3, Vorbis have been tested.

L'ultima versione di Rew lavora anche in asio: inoltre ,ora, può generare filtri con correzione sino a 10khz.

il problema non è che Audacity non possa registrare in ASIO. E' che ASIO è esclusivo, se usato in un'applicazione la scheda audio risulta occupata, anche se sta facendo due cose diverse come playback e recording.

Per cui, quando faccio lo sweep con JRiver in ASIO, non posso registrare in alcun modo al di fuori di esso.

Sono semplicemente precisi e frenati senza riverberi.

Guarda, io tutto sono fuorchè un audiofilo, anzi!

Però devo dire che nell'ascolto musicale, dopo tante prove, preferisco senza filtri convolutori. Quando inserisco il filtro, i bassi saranno come dici tu più precisi e frenati, ma a me sembrano un pò "mosci".

Ho fatto la controprova facendo ascoltare dei brani a mia figlia (che ha un udito perfetto), ed anche lei è d'accordo con me.

Ma forse devo rifare il filtro da capo.

Questa è una misurazione fatta con REW circa 2 anni, con altro amplificatore. Un grafico con il filtro convolutore attivo sinceramente non so come si faccia (è già stata un'avventura riuscire ad utilizzare REW e realizzare quel grafico)

I filtri si attivano con Jriver (o foobar) mentre le misurazioni si fanno con REW (o altro programma simile che io non conosco): come li combino i 2 programmi?

O forse si riescono ad attivare i filtri anche con REW?

se non sbaglio rew è indipendente dai filtri (ma forse questo è il caso di quando si usa un convolutore - o come si chiama - che intercetta *tutto* l'audio out dal pc e non nel caso in cui i filtri vengano implementati direttamente in un software che quindi sarebbe l'unico a beneficiarne), in ogni caso in genere si consiglia di fare le misurazioni con un portatile e di suonare gli sweep con il pc "filtrato" collegato all'impianto

...ciao ragazzi qualcuno di voi ha provato ad eseguire un filmato con audio DTS-HD HIGH RESOLUTION in bitstreaming verso un AVR, ame viene eseguito correttamente ma sul display dell'ampli mi appare DTS-HD MASTER AUDIO....utilizzo una scheda video NVIDIA GTX460 con link HDMI.

video clock non funziona per rallentare i dvd a 24p.. a meno che non sia io che sbaglio qualcosa

A meno che non stai facendo bitstreaming non saprei.

Personalmente trovo molto interessante i cambiamenti fatti al volume interno. C'ha il pedigree da vero pre-amp

Intendevo dire che non mi è chiara la procedura da seguire con jriver per usare il drc multicanale. Mi sembra di capire che non è possibile farlo tramite asio ma occorre usare wasapi o cosa?

Fa tutto da solo, sweep per ogni canale e relativi filtri drc?
