1:1 and AE300
I have recently corresponded with Panasonic Australia regarding driving the PT-AE300E at native resolution via the VGA and/or DVI-D input. The response was:
"Basically the signal format 960 x 540 does not comply with any official
standards (It is neither SVGA nor is it SXGA).
However if the signal can simulate the following condition, it is possible
to display a very true and clear image.
Display area: 952 x 518 (best selection for CLK Adjustment)
fH: 37.75KHz or 28.125KHz (fH of HDTV60 and fH of HDTV50)
fV: 60Hz or 50Hz
If the output of your video card can simulate the above condition, the
projector will recognise it as a HDTV signal."
I then asked:
1) is there a recommended dot clock for these modes
2) do the details provided apply for both the VGA and DVI-D connections
Response:
1) Dot clock should be 37.125MHz.
2) This signal is for 15 Pin D-Sub connector (Analogue PC Input).
Therefore it appears that there is a way to achieve almost 1:1 pixel mapping from the analog VGA input, but not on DVI-D.
I asked if there was likely to be a firmware update for DVI-D to support these modes but I haven't had a response just yet.

Grazie mille.
Quindi si potrebbe provare con powerstrip una risoluzione di 952x518... interessante.
Per le frequenze ok. Hai un'idea di come impostare gli altri parametri di powerstrip?
