Risposta interessante su 65cx800 vs 65js9500 (la risposta non è di rlindo, ma di un utente che ha entrambi i pannelli

hi rlindo, thanks a lot for your great job/test. I'm looking for 65cx800 (just arrived in italian market) but probably we will have 65js9500 to 4000€ and 65cx800 to 3300-3500€, what would be your choice? ty
Both are solid tvs. I would tell you if depends on if you are a picture purist...the Panasonic has better control over picture settings such as gamma and color management. But what the Panasonic lacks, at least until maybe a firmware fix, is that their dimming system is miles behind Samsung. But the positive spin on that is that you won't see blooming as bad as the Samsung.
The positives to the Samsung would be the one connect box which slightly future proofs the set, the processors and all the inputs can be swapped out for newer generation technology. It does have a fast processor as well. The menu is way more cumbersome. Your only remote is a small wand vs having 2 remotes with the Panasonic. You do achieve absolute blacks with the Samsung with amazing zone control, but on the flip side to that, is even with their dimming system on you will see blooming unless you have some sort of ambient light on. The curve is more gimmic than anything unless you are sitting within 4 ft from your TV. At 8ft it looks flat anyway. I've only heard one person say they thought the curve added effect and they had the 88" 20k set.
Overall picture quality I'll say they are pretty close when it comes to being calibrated. I felt colors were over saturated on the Samsung. But as mentioned black levels go deeper. Both tvs offer excellent motion handling.
As far as streaming services, Samsung is the winner. Both tvs are able to stream 4k without an issue, but Samsung has a bigger market of apps to choose from. Panasonic doesn't even have Hulu at the moment. Samsung has a service Mgo which lets you rent or buy some HDR uhd films all ready such as the kingsmen, life of pi, x-men days of future past.
My overall impression of the sets led me to choose the panasonics because they are a company known for squeezing out the most accurate picture
