Anch'io chiederei l'aiuto dei migliori anglofoni del forum, per capire esattamente cosa dice Curt Palme in questo post, visto che ho in corso un'acquisto:

Just a quick note to all, sales and inquiries were kinda dead in the water for the end of May and the beginning of June, both in my day job and on eBay/projector sales.

Summertime is typically slow, but it seems that many people have decided to isolate themselves in their theaters, as all of a sudden all hell has broken loose. The day job company just got a whackload of installation purchase orders in as well, taking some of my time away from me and projectors.

My inbox of emails was down to 124 2 days ago, now I'm at 229 and counting.

So please bear with me while I try to get caught up. I'm going to have to break some promises on when I said I'd get some stuff done by, but I should be caught up by the end of next week as I take advantage of the staggered holidays between July 1 and July 4 when the phone should slow down...

Dice che in questo periodo , contrariamente a cio' che si aspettava ,visto che maggio è stato morto come periodo, la gente lo sta subissando di email, " evidentemente si vogliono chiudere nelle loro salette HT .....", è rimasto indietro con il lavoro e non potrà mantenere qualche promessa, visto che ci saranno 4 giorni di ferie dal 1 al 4 luglio, ne approfitterà per rimettersi in corsa.


E' cio che ho capito, non tradotto alla lettera
