AIUTO: problema upgrade firmware harman kardon Avr 255

Ho scaricato il firmware dal sito HK:
Software release June 10 Version 07-01-2010 / AFW V0.98.3.1

uso pc con windows 7 e per collegare il sinto un adattatore usb / RS232 della Startech.
Avvio il programmino per aggiornare il firmware e per i primi 3 passaggi non ci sono problemi, pero' alla fine quando devo aggiornare il software Video , mi da errore e cioè:

"Initializing...
AVR didn't respond properly.
Please check connection between the computer and your AVR.
Video subsystem upgrade failed.
To recover, press the Standby/On switch on the front panel to turn AVR into
Standby mode.
Then press the switch again to turn your AVR back On.
Wait at least 30 seconds and then press upgrade to continue"

Ho provato e riprovato ma niente, anche sotto windows Xp la stessa cosa..

Qualcuno ha riscontrato questo errore? MI potete dare un consiglio?
