Warner Home Video ha annunciato oggi di essere il primo studio ad aver raggiunto il traguardo delle 100.000 copie vendute di un titolo ad alta definizione con "The Departed" di Martin Scorsese.

Warner ha in catalogo i due più venduti film ad alta definizione: "The Departed" e "Superman Returns".

Warner Home Video Leads the High Definition Disc Market with Two of the Top-Selling HD DVD and Blu-Ray Disc Titles

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Warner Home Video (WHV) announced that it is the first studio to surpass sales of 100,000 copies of a high definition title with Martin Scorsese's 2006 Academy Award® Best Picture winner, "The Departed".

With the number one and two highest selling titles on high definition formats - "The Departed" and "Superman Returns" - as well as three other titles in the top ten, ("Batman Begins", "Happy Feet" and "Goodfellas") Warner Home Video continues to be the market share leader in high definition disc sales.

Non è copiato nè un plagio, è un remake; sono stati pagati dollari su dolari di diritti d'autore e diritti sul soggetto del film

Mi fa piacere che la Warner si "vanti" di questo traguardo raggiunto, ma se magari uscisse in hd anche da noi...

Da noi è Medusa, non Warner, e da quanto ne so la Medusa non ha ancora iniziato un catalogo di uscite su BluRay o HdDvd. A noi va meglio quando in Italia i diritti sono gestiti dalla casa madre e non da un distributore locale (questo vale anche per i Dvd, non solo per i nuovi prodotti)

Sapevo che c'è di mezzo Medusa, ma sinceramente non ho mai capito perchè a volte i diritti sono gestiti direttamente da Warner e altre volte da Medusa
