dal forum da te postato, sembra che questo nvidia shield tv non sia il massimo per qualità video... forse siamo difronte ad un prodotto
troppo giovane, forse ha bisogno di qualche aggiornamento dedicato, oppure non è stato progettato per queste esigenze. punto.

wesk05 è famoso per cercare il pelo nel uovo ... il team/forum di kodi collabora con nvidia allo sviluppo quindi analizzano in dettaglio ogni aspetto.
Un utente medio è capace che neanche si accorge del problema.

è provabile che lo stesso problema c'è su altri player ma nessuno se nè sia mai accorto.

Sia sul plasma panasonic 42gt50 che sul proiettore epson tw 5500 (spettando i 24p). Indubbiamente ci sono dei peccati di gioventù ma a mio avviso il box è molto interessante!

New SHIELD Upgrades

We’ve made a commitment to supporting the SHIELD family with frequent, meaningful software upgrades. We’re continuing to honor that pledge as Android 6.0 Marshmallow heads to SHIELD Android TV.
S’more to love: Android 6.0 Marshmallow coming to SHIELD Android TV.Among the biggest enhancements Marshmallow brings is Adoptable Storage, which helps you super-size your storage capabilities. When adding an SD card, USB drive or external hard drive, SHIELD Android TV can recognize the new storage as internal memory.
We’re also enhancing the startup process. So there are even fewer steps you need to take before launching your favorite apps, movies, music and games.
Additionally, recent updates allow SHIELD Android TV owners to take control of the Recommendation Row and edit the apps that can push suggested content. They can also re-order apps and games in the download section — or allow them to appear in most recent order in which you’ve used them.
We’ll continue to support SHIELD with industry-leading software upgrades.
New SHIELD Games

Konami’s acclaimed video game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is coming to SHIELD; pushing the boundaries of graphics, style and lightning-speed gameplay on a media streaming device.
Starting this Thursday, Jan. 7, you can control the hero, Raiden, a former child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja with a soul fueled by revenge.
A fantastic story set in the Metal Gear universe complements the hit game’s non-stop action. NVIDIA annuncia l’aggiornamento ad Android 6.0 Marshmallow per SHIELD Android TV, dopo averlo rilasciato anche per SHIELD Tablet K1 due settimane fa. L’aggiornamento di sistema non rinnova l’esperienza utente, ma ovviamente aggiunge le funzionalità della nuova versione di Android. L’aggiornamento ad Android 6.0 consente di utilizzare su SHIELD Android TV una memoria esterna (scheda SD o penna USB) come memoria interna su cui sarà possibile memorizzare tantissimi giochi, considerando che il modello base della console dispone di 16 GB di memoria interna. Anche l’interfaccia ha subito cambiamenti: è possibile personalizzare la schermata Home, cambiando lo sfondo, riordinando le app installate e scegliendo quali app mostrare tra i contenuti raccomandati. È stato introdotta anche una versione del Play Store, che migliora la categorizzazione delle app. Il processo di installazione di SHIELD Android TV sarà semplificato, in quanto, collegandola ad un dispositivo Android, potremmo passarle direttamente le informazioni dell’account di Google. L’aggiornamento ad Android 6.0 per la console arriverà a breve, ma intanto vi lasciamo una video anteprima.

Ragazzi un consiglio. ho rimandato l'nvidia shield da 500 gb ad amazon. mi hanno risposto che il reso è solo di 50 euro dato che la shield è arrivata danneggiata.

si ma non ti dico che odissea. fallo con pacco tracciabile e poi una volta arrivato contattali in continuazione per dirgli dell'accredito. a me ci hanno provato scrivendo che era arrivato rotto e mi davano solo 50 euro, quando sul sito c'era scritto che già era arrivato da una settimana e che già avevano fatto il rimborso. li ho bombardati di email e alla fine in chat hanno detto che il rimborso era in 2 tranche. 50+222.20. e alla fine mi restituiscono anche le spese di spedizione.

Marshmallow is on its way to the NVIDIA Shield Android TV

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is finally arriving on the NVIDIA Shield. Although this update won’t exactly revolutionize your Android TVexperience, it will bring along some nice perks that can make interacting with the device simpler, more intuitive, and more customizable.

For starters, Marshmallow will allow you to set up your NVIDIA Shield touch-free via your smartphone. All you’ll have to do is say, “Okay Google, set up my device,” and your Google account will be wirelessly transferred to your Shield. Moreover, this update will let users personalize their home screen by allowing them to pin apps to specific locations – much like how your phone’s home screen currently works. This ability to reorder icons should make navigating the Shield easier than ever before.
On a slightly more technical level, Android 6.0 will enable Shield users to use USB drives or SD cards as if they were internal storage. Effectively, you’ll be able to increase your internal memory for apps and games without requiring additional management from you. This isn’t a perfect solution, of course, but it’s a nice option to have available.
The aesthetic of the Google Play Store has also been renovated with this update, so now categories and “top” charts are much more streamlined. NVIDIA hasn’t given a specific date for when they will be rolling out the Marshmallowy update, but “soon” is still good enough news for now. We’d be surprised if Android 6.0 didn’t start rolling out to Shield devices within the next few weeks.

Inoltre una volta installata devi attivare l'opzione di passtrough selezionando il tipo di menù advanced perché altrimenti con il basic (selezionato di default) non te la fa vedere.

Io ci sono letteralmente impazzito!!!

Come ti è stato suggerito, puoi scaricare la patch sperimentale per abilitare l'audio Hd, altrimenti devi attendere l'aggiornamento ad Android Marshmellow per la Shield, il quale dovrebbe essere rilasciato a breve, il quale andrà ad abilitare anche le decodifiche in oggetto.
Infatti allo stato attuale Dts HD-MA e Dolby True-Hd vengono riprodotti rispettivamente come Ac3 e Dts normali questo più che altro, per via di un limite dell'attuale versione dell'Os.
