Due utenti inglesi hanno consigliato questi settaggi, uno per sd tv e l'altro per hdtv. Se volete provarli????
Anyway I know people keep going on about it but it's true with a bit of tweaking the SD picture quality is stunning for 52" LCD (very plasma like ) I have not adjusted the settings that much but here it goes for "SD"
PS truD makes a big improvement even if it is a kind of edge enhancement.
Backlight_______ 0
Contrast_______32
Brightness ______0
Colour _________3
tint ____________0
Sharpness ____-10
Colour temp ___low (still playing with this)
Black__________off
DNR___________off
i/p setting__Progressive (this important if you select interlace you get jagged edges on horizontal pans)
truD__________off (but it's on all the time anyway)
this is being fed by a standard def cable box RGB over scart
am really begining to get good results out of this TV, here are my settings so far and they work very well for HD too
Backlight_______ -3
Contrast_______25
Brightness ______-1
Colour _________0
tint ____________0
Sharpness ____-10
Colour temp ___middle (still playing with this)
Black__________off
DNR___________off
i/p setting__Progressive (this important if you select interlace you get jagged edges on horizontal pans)
truD__________off (but it's on all the time anyway)
** in HD mode** Film mode off
It is very important however to set Dynamic range to enhanced (found under connections -> HDMI setup -> Dynamic range
if its not done you cant get the correct brightnes levels, I spent ages trying to calibrate the screen using the nokia monitor test tool, and could not do it until this was set to enhanced
