Bazzicando per i forum mi sono imbatutto in quanto segue:
Many HDTVs that dont have native 1080p and are not hooked up by digital HDMI will have lag because they do upscale converting. it is IMPOSSIBLE for a standard definition tv to have lag unless you've added an inbetween such as a digital splitter/recorder.
With just your SDTV, you are getting the lag of the converter... with his JVC HDTV, you are getting the lag of the converter AND the upscaling from the TV. Check to see if his TV has an option where you can turn upscaling off; you'll lose a ton of quality though... or, just have him buy HDMI cables for $50 and hook the PS3 up that way.

Cioe' in sintesi lo ''scalare l'immagine'' provocherebbe una sorta di lagg (mi riferisco in particolare ai videogames.)
Ora mi sembra di aver letto che il 9951 non e' in grado di visualizzare 720 P ma riscala l'immagine a 576 P .
Anche il suddetto tv e' quindi soggetto a lagg??
( cosa da me sperimantata nell'utilizzo de PS3 su Lcd hd ready sony bravia)
