Classé will be shipping the ssp-800 in June. Its price is comparable to the Denon prepro, but I believe that it lacks video processing.
The principle engineer for the ssp-800 is the same guy behind the Proceed avp2/avp2+6 and ML N° 40 Media Console, so the SQ should be excellent.

It will not decode dts ma or dolby truehd initially, but Classé will
be offering a free upgrade later.

[28-Feb-08] Classe updated its SSP-800 plans at CES 08. Despite the CEIDA 07 announcement, it will not support HBR decoders. Release is now end of April 08, MSRP $8000. A detailed summary appears in the Official SSP-800 Thread. A HBR upgrade may be available at a later date.

Ci hanno messo "solo" un anno e mezzo dall'annuncio, ma finalmente è disponibile l'agognato aggiornamento alle codifiche HD. Gratuito per chi già possiede un ssp-800, ma da ottobre '09 un processore nuovo costa 1.000$ in più.
