Mediaplayer 4K Cloud Media Popcorn Hour A-500 PRO: il leader ha ripreso il suo posto!

Si è sempre saputo che sarebbe stato così.

L'unica questione è che come finanziatore e quindi in un certo senso azionista effettivo di Cloud Media e della fase progettuale del suo futuro A-500 (non Pro), mi sarei aspettato un rigoroso rispetto dei tempi previsti.

Invece ci hanno fatto pagare il biglietto di ingresso per uno spettacolo in cartellone con l'abete natalizio; siamo giunti all'agnello pasquale, ma mi sembra che ci sia ancora poco di concreto... :tapiro:

Hi there! It’s been a month since we last spoke, and we are now closer to our best quality player!
The final board on analog audio has been tested and good news is that all is well! Here is the final board for you to have a glance.

While for the high quality components for analog audio, we have received partial of them and still waiting for some of them to arrive.
The estimated shipment date will be by the mid of June. We will keep you posted if we are able to ship your Popcorn Hour A-500 PRO earlier than the estimated date.

Ormai si parla di Terabyte (1024 GB)...
Si sa che è stato testato con HDD da 4 TB (ma il suo predecessore, il 400/410 porta dischi fino a 6TB per cui immagino...)

Con oggi sono passati esattamente 9 mesi dal momento in cui è stata aperta la sottoscrizione del crowfunding e dall'apertura di questa discussione. Possiamo quindi ufficialmente affermare che il "bimbo" è decisamente ritardatario!

Hi there!
We are here to bring you another update. We are now entering into an exciting phase and so grateful have your support all the way. Here're the FCC, CE, ROHS Certifications for the Popcorn Hour A-500 PRO! We made it!







When you see all these things, you know that it's near. It's been crazy months for us in running over two labs for the EMI and analog audio performance test verification with newly modified PCB layout. And YES, high quality components for analog audio that we have been waiting for have arrived safe and sound.
Sorry for the lapse in communication because we have been so busy testing on the EMI to ensure it complies with its standard as the A-500 PRO failed the EMI testing earlier. It was indeed a devil of a job! Well, the good news is we finally got over the hump without having to sacrifice the audio performance. We have re-layout the PCB with good audio performance and we have passed the EMi test (you can see it from the FCC certification as attached).
The Popcorn Hour A-500 PRO has currently been sent for production. It is assumed that six to seven weeks from now are needed before its shipment. As China is having their holiday now due to the Dragon Boat Festival, we can only update you on a more precise shipment date once we have got confirmation from them on next week.
Meanwhile, we are keeping improving the NMJ firmware as you can see we have just released the A-500 Beta 3 Firmware with many improvements, http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=73478. All improvements will be incorporated to the A-500 PRO as well.
We truly understand your frustration as an eager and excited consumer. We do sincerely apologize for these delays, but do understand we never intended for the manufacturing process to take this long. Now that we have perfected the manufacturing process, the A-500 PRO will be made much faster but with the quality that we have promised. We believe that it's better safe than sorry. Please know that we do read all of the comments and emails, even the negative ones. But, we also know the majority of out consumers have been extremely supportive and it means the world to us. We appreciate all of the kind emails and words of encouragement. We appreciate that you have not given up.
Again, thank you for still believing in us and please have a happy and lovely summer .

• 4 July: Final board and all the component ready
• 5~9 July: Board SMT
• 10~14 July: PCBA Testing
• 16~19 July: 50 full unit trial run
Temperature and reliability test for 72 hours
Drop and vibration test
ESD test and etc.
• 20 July: Conclusion on trial run report
• 21~23 July: Mass production
• 24~27 July: Quality test
• 28~29 July: Packing
• 30 July: Shipment

The shipment is near and we are excited to get the Popcorn Hour A-500 PRO in your hands!
