Atlanta, GA, June 9, 2004: Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) at Infocomm today announced a new DLP SXGA+ offering, providing customers a 1400 x 1050 resolution, the highest single-chip resolution available for the projector market today.

Offering high brightness and contrast ratios, DLP SXGA+ technology is optimized for the growing high-resolution requirements of business, medical and military markets, as well as fixed installations and large conference room settings. The inherent advantage of the single-chip DLP? architecture assures no misalignment over time, ensuring consistent, sharp images.

projectiondesign will be demonstrating its F1+ projector based on the new DLP SXGA+ technology at Infocomm (Booth #1361A). The F1+ offers 2500 lumens, and utilizes DLP DarkChip2? technology, allowing an impressive 2500:1 contrast ratio. TI expects other customers to launch products with DLP SXGA+ technology soon.

Bè, non è il fantomatico HD3!....

è un chip 4:3 "vulgaris", credo che sia un oggetto più indirizzato a dati che non a uso HT.

Però è sintomo che pian pianino si stanno avvicinando all'HD3....

passerà ancora molto tempo?

Non credo.
