La terza tappa del confronto tra TV OLED e proiettori si terrà a Milano 2, nella bella showroom Spazio 2M di Fabio De Angelis. Al piano superiore saranno a confronto il TV Sony Bravia 8 II con tecnologia QD-OLED e il nuovo Panasonic Z95B con pannello OLED-WRGB, mostrati sia in default che dopo una accurata calibrazione.
Nella sala cinema si sfideranno i proiettori JVC DLA-NZ500, Epson EH-QB1000 e BenQ W4100i. Sessioni venerdì 28 dalle ore 15:30 alle 19:00 e sabato 29 dalle 9:30 alle 12:30 e poi dalle 14:30 alle 18:00.

Latest madVR Developments
We've been busy adding many new patent pending features to madVR. This includes our new histogram shaped 4K HDR dynamic frame by frame tone mapping (HSTM) and new Shadow Detail Recovery algorithms, which restore damage typically caused to contrast and shadow detail by alternative tone mapping methods. The response has been overwhelming, and we look forward to you seeing it in action.

The widely-known professional reviewer Ekki Schmitt of Cine4home just last week previewed the latest madVR. He compared madVR directly against JVC's new frame adapt HDR firmware and Sony's latest tone mapping. Which one is considered the gold standard? Find out in his review.

E cosa ha a che fare il Barco con il discorso ? Il link che ho postato (preso paro paro dalla stessa newsletter che evidentemenre è arrivata anche a te) vuole solo dimostrare che l'uso di Envy migliora l'immagine anche di un 3chip DLP laser, più di quanto non faccia il processore Lumagen in possesso del proprietario. Che poi abbia messo la faccina perché il Barco è un signor proiettore, ok .... ma il thread qui non è su quello. Giusto ?

Anche perché quelli sono pià di uno(a), in zona ....
Battute a parte, non ho i numeri delle ultime due edizioni di ISE, ma in quelle precedenti aveva sbaragliato di brutto InfoComm (worldwide), diventando di fatto LA fiera globale del settore A/V pro, con un padiglione (o gran parte di esso) anche adibito a prodotti "consumer" o "prosumer". Senza considerare le dimostrazioni A/V con audio ad oggetti .... poter capire e vedere/toccare i diversi aspetti commerciali e le diverse anime di un'azienda (se opera in più settori) e farsi un'idea di cosa sia l'automazione "vera", le tecnologie presenti e future, qualcuna con fortuna arriva anche sul mercato consumer.
Visto che l'ingresso gratis più o meno si trova comunque, e che prenotando con grano salis i low cost ed anche gli alberghi non a 5 stelle o attaccati al RAI Center, ad Amsterdam sono più o meno a buon mercato, basterebbe investire un paio di gg di ferie per farsi un'idea del mondo vero, di cosa c'è la fuori, e non solo di quello che leggiamo e ci raccontano gli altri.
Tra una settimana tutti ad Amsterdam a sollazzarsi la vista con il nuovo oggetto del desiderio (no, non quello che avete subito pensato
il nuovo oggetto del desiderio ,che voi sappiate,sarà importato da qualcuno in italia ??

Credo che chi è interessato ad Envy segua il chilometrico thread su AVS, ad ogni modo qui un paio di upgrade interessanti per chi se lo fosse perso.
Prima l'impressione di un super utente:

Leggiucchiando qua e la si è anche scoperto che le GPU sono delle nVidia RTX 2080 Super, scelte al posto delle Ti per la differenza di prezzo a fronte delle reali prestazioni che servono per questa applicazione, disponibilità sul mercato e consumo/rumorosità in confronto con la sorella maggiore.
Da quello che si evince è IL processore video definitivo.
