dai documenti che avevo linkato precedentemente, risulta che il primo aspetto che interessava Kodak fosse quello del risparmio economico per il gestore, cioè commercializzare proiettori allo stesso prezzo di quelli tradizionali ma con costi di gestione nettamente più contenuti (dal 30 al 50% di risparmio sull'energia, per esempio)
un altro aspetto fondamentale era la maggiore luminosità, soprattutto in S3D (65% in più di efficienza), e mi sa che questo è il motivo per cui IMAX si è poi comprata i brevetti
quello della migliore qualità di visione non era il primo degli obiettivi

Silverstein said studio people and cinematographers who have seen the system in private demos have noted two features of this side-by-side demo.

quindi va ovviamente verificato sul campo
per quel che riguarda la RED... mi pare che abbia confermato la commercializzazione per quest'anno del REDray, ma non ancora del proiettore, mi sbaglio?
