All'Ufficio Europeo dei Brevetti stanno cercando 200 persone da inserire nell'organico come esaminatori di brevetti.

DG1 is looking for about 200 new, highly qualified examiners in 2014. Because of the success of the examiner selection events in 2013, new examiner selection events are planned in Munich and The Hague in March, June and October 2014. The dates for the spring examiner selection events are 10-14 March in The Hague and 17-21March in Munich. At each event, a group of approximately 90 preselected candidates will be going through a series of first and second recruitment interviews. If you are aware of good candidates that may fit into the profile of an examiner, please consider to direct them to the EPO web site (http://www.epo.org/about-us/jobs.html) where the application process to be enrolled for one of the examiner selection events is accessible.

The EPO offers a competitive salary (4200-8000 EUR/month net - depending on experience). L'Ufficio ha appena lanciato una Smart TV app per i televisori Samsung, LG e Toshiba (per i Philips dovrebbe arrivare a breve) dove si mostrano video con informazioni sull'Organizzazione Europea dei Brevetti e video sul lavorare all'Ufficio Europeo dei Brevetti. Una sezione speciale è stata dedicata alla cerimonia di premiazione per il nono European Inventor Award del 17 Giugno 2014 celebrata a Berlino.
