Inline IN1424 Scan Doubler
The IN1424 Scan Doublers enhance composite video or S-Video input signals by doubling the number of video lines, resulting in an Improved Definition Television (IDTV) output signal. These unit provide a smooth, film-like image, virtually free of visible scan lines. This image is ideally suited for large screen video displays in boardrooms, training facilities, and any other location requiring a large video image without scan lines.

Digital scan doubling improves video signals by doubling the number of scan lines, resulting in a non-interlaced video image output at twice the input signal's horizontal scan frequency. The primary benefit of scan doubling is the elimination of visible scan lines, resulting in a solid, film-like image. An additional benefit is a marked reduction in the amount of line flicker.
Four Input Video / Stereo Audio Switcher - Users may select the desired input using front panel controls or via RS-232 commands. Inputs 1 - 3 accept S-Video or Composite video signals and Input 4 is a passive RGB input accepting signals from a personal computer or other RGB sources.

On-Screen Control Menus - provide comprehensive control over video and audio settings. The on-screen menus also make it easy to adjust advanced settings such as output sync format, serial control parameters, closed caption options, and reset to factory defaults.
Enhanced Video Controls - offer individual adjustment of hue, color, contrast, brightness, sharpness and gamma with a wide dynamic range for each control. Audio controls include volume, bass, treble, balance, and mute.
Selectable output sync configuration: RGBH&V, RGBS or RsGsBs
Blank Mode lets you blank the video picture while still maintaining sync lock on the display device.
On-Screen Prompting - allows custom text messages to be displayed on screen, updated in real time. RS-232 codes define the text to be shown and the number of times to repeat the message.
