Alla fine non ho capito se con i driver 5.13 queste Ati sono meglio del Purevideo?

Specifically? NVIDIA was first with region-based deinterlacing for HD. This means that in the 5 striped squares of the test pattern (the ones available for download at hqv.com), only the square in the region of motion loses half of the resolution. Older cards from ATI would bob the entire screen and flash everything. The new Cat 5.13's have the same behavior as NVIDIA -- the center square loses resolution. A per-pixel solution such as HQV will not lose resolution even in the center.
Insomma mi sembra un Test del cavolo, visto che i risultati sono dei Demo HQV. Cioè supera meglio i Test ma poi va peggio?!
TheInquirer ha messo a confronto le capacità di decodifica dei due chip grafici del momento, R520 (X1800XT) e G70 (GeForce 7800 GTX) con Avivo Video Converter; i risultati parlano chiaro: 108 per ATi, 58 per nVidia.
