Ecco un report "soggettivo" di chi ha visto il Sony X950B al CES:
"Spent a significant amount of my time at CES checking out the 4k UHD sets from:
Sony
Samsung
Toshiba
Sharp
LG
Panasonic
and various Chinese manufacturers
The BEST of them by a wide margin, was the Sony XBR-950B (65" and 85"). Now this is only considering picture quality. In fact, thickness of the set aside, it was easy to mistake this set for an OLED (given how deep and rich the blacks were) and many who stopped by did. Sony also had this set placed side-by-side with last year's 84" set (panel sourced from LG) and the difference was night and day.
The new set features Full-Array Local Dimming backlight (number of zones undisclosed)
Triluminous Display Technology
X-tended Dynamic Range Processing (really does work)
X Reality Pro image processing (up-scaling, etc)
While the image on this set was fantastic, disappointments were:
Return to Active vs. Passive 3D
8-bit panel (though with 14-bit sub-pixel processing)"...
Colors were the truest I have seen out of an LED set for quite a while. Reds were RED and contained plenty of detail. Banding was non-evident in the set - I was told this was due to the 14-bit sub-pixel processing of the panel. I looked hard to see any signs of banding or atifacting, and could find none in the demo reel provided.
