Nuovo coperchio e nuove uscite analogiche audiophile ...
"We have been working on new improvements for our players these months, even at the expense of big delays to deliver some orders.
The Vinculum Blu-ray players are now better built, with the new chassis even more heavy than before and also more protected against any bad handling during shipment. We have applied better vibration control for the chassis, which now includes constrained layer damping and other advanced techniques to cancel all internal resonance.
The passive ventilation and internal air flow path has been also improved and the machine runs even colder than the standard Oppo.
Many other improvements have been applied on internal electronics to enhance the picture and sound quality. Specially remarkable is the vastly improved musicality through the analog outputs, challenging most High-End audiophile sources.
We sincerely thank the patience and trust of many people who have called us and are waiting to modify their blu-ray players or attend to any new demo session. We believe that it well worth the wait and that this effort will allow us to reduce the delay for every modification in the future. ."

interessante ma purtroppo, ripeto il concetto, la loro "ragione sociale" non mi ispira alcuna fiducia..... :oink::eekk:

basta un accento sbagliato e si rischiano bruciori indesiderati.
Mi sembra un ottimo manifesto per dell'aria fritta, un telaio migliorato che non si ammacca...nuovi connettori RCA, trasformatore toroidale...etc etc

Sicuramente l'aver messo un coperchio più pesante con delle prese d'aria aggiuntive porterà ai soliti cambiamenti "mostruosi ed epocali", però poi per le modifiche alla parte elettronica se la sbrigano velocemente con

ovvero: "solo stati implementati molti altri miglioramenti all'elettronica interna per migliorare la qualità del suono e dell'immagine", sicuramente una descrizione tecnica approfondita.

"We offer two levels of mods for the Oppo 105D, Signature and Premium mod.
Our mod uses two Ultima Femto Clock, featuring a custom low jitter (less than 82 Femto seconds) oscillator made for us by Crystek. One Ultima clock is used for the digital and HDMI system, and another one for the analog audio system (Stereo, 7.1 multichannel, headphone output). The Latter clock upgrade also allows for 384Khz sampling rated audio files to be played (Computer Audio USB input). Lower jitter means less errors during processing and conversion; the improvement to A/V performance are well documented. All features of the player is vastly improved with these two Femto clock changes.
For the analog audio output (Stereo / 7.1 multichannel / headphone output) additional modifications are done to make the player truly state of art. 5pcs of Ultima low noise voltage regulators are used to replace the stock. This lowers down the background noise levels of the player drastically. High quality resistors, Schottky diodes, capacitors and opamps are also used to replace stock components at critical locations to further improve the sound. Circuit modifications are also employed to optimise the sound further. The chassis and drive mechanism is also damped to reduce the effects of unwanted vibrations on the performance of the player.
The different between signature mod and Premium mod lies in the mains power supply employed.
For the signature mod, the stock switch mode power supply is modded with high quality components including high voltage FRED diodes, capacitors and in particular, a swiss made gold plated copper alloy fuse. All these are done to reduce the noise level of the switch mode power supply to improve the performance of the player further.
The premium mod removes the stock mod power supply altogether and uses a custom designed linear power supply. In this way, all switch power supply noise is removed. This internal linear power supply uses a large toroidal transformer, and with high quality Schottky diodes, bulk low impedance capacitors, the swiss made fuse and Linear Tech high current voltage regulators. This lowers down the internal noise level of the player to an absolute minimum, and though pricy, is a worthy consideration if you wish to have the absolute performance from the Oppo 105D.
All brand new Modded Oppo players sold will be DVD region-free and Blu-ray multi-zone enabled"

Salve ,possiedo un Oppo 105 Eu , inizialmente mi era venuto in mente di fare la modifica aurium pero 600 euro sono tante e in caso di vendita non recuperi le spese, cosi avrei pensato visto che so cimentarmi in elettronica di fare una modifica alla volta tanto mi interessa solo la parte audio 2 canali, la domanda e' dove posso recuperare schemi di montaggio step step e componenti ? quali componenti adottare ?

Ti preoccupi in caso di vendita di non recuperare le spese della mod (600 euro) di un professionista , e non che ci azzeri il valore (perdendo quasi tutto i 1600 euro spesi) se lo "modifichi" (?) tu personalmente , che non sei un modder professionista ? Chi se lo compra un lettore modificato a livello amatoriale e non si sa come (anche se fosse fatta bene) ? sempre Imho

The stock OPPO blu-ray players have a beautiful aluminium front panel, perhaps the finest in its price-class.
However, to complete the new strong chassis included in our modifications, we wanted to design a new silver-anodized front panel, more massive and thick. It includes our new logo , which tries to symbolize the union of image and sound in a minimalist design.
The new front panel comes to answer a request from some of our customers, who wanted a more high-end look for their new audiophile source. The modifications keeping the standard front panel will be still available.
We have improved also the look of our audiophile cables and the product packaging. Hope to present some pictures in few days.

A motivo in piu di questo sia come risparmio sia come soddisfazione personale preferirei fare le modifiche da solo , mi chiedo una cosa uno stimatore di oppo come mai lo preferisce originale piuttosto che moddato con caratteristiche superiori ?
Ripropongo la domanda , chi sa fornirmi schemi di montaggio e link di fornitori per la reperibilita' componenti ?
