Optical classe A, suono meraviglioso, rapporto segnale rumore strepitoso 123db-A (fruscio inesistente), qualità della componentistica e costruttiva Denon, toroidali giganteschi, manopole del livello, pilota 2 distinte coppie di casse, led anteriori di segnalazione anomalie. Pilota bene l'impilotabile. Con questo ampli si può comporre un fronte anteriore di altissimo livello. 435x187x429mm. Per l'ampli il prezzo è di 387 euro. In vendita anche su altri canali.

The Denon POA series of amps are the best sounding amps I have used. I am running hybrid electrostatic panels with these monsters and they continue to amaze me. The real trick with these amps is to run two of them as monoblocks, this lets the already oversized power supply really shine. The amps are not bridgeable, but running only one channel of 200+ watts seems to be adequate. I have found that the cheapest Dakiom stabalizer works best on this amp. The soundstage and imaging are first class with no typical transistor harshness. The amps are dead quiet and sound just as good at low volume as loud. They do get hot when pushed so adequate ventelation is required. I have found the "cd" input has sounded better than the "normal" in most cases. Power, imaging, soundstage.

This review is for a Denon POA 2400. Since I was not pleased at all with the stereo sound of my Yamaha receiver, I decided to purchase an external Amp. My luck was to find a Denon 2400 in mint condition. I can only say that I regret not to have bought this big baby sooner. What a spectacular Amp! The soundstage is now richer and so detailed, even at low volume. Bass is strong and accurate. Highs are incredibly clearer. Simply put, I do no longer recognize my speakers. I would certainly recommend this amp for a budget-minded audiophile that wants to know what true high-end audio equipment means. Strengths: Built quality. Great soundstage, tight Bass. Perfect match with my JMLabs. Very quiet. The Direct input is a great plus. This Amp sounds and looks awsome. Weaknesses: None if you compare the ratio: built quality/Price.

This was Denon's High End amp at the time and rated 200watts/ch power optical class A. I decided to owned a Denon and was very fortunate to find one just like new at play it again sam on the internet. This amp, sold for $700.00, today would probably cost about $1500 on up considering its build quality. The sound is very neutral and clean throughout the spectrum with the low end being its trade mark executing with tightness and control. If you are lucky to find one in good condition buy it, you will be glad you did This is a classic amp with pure sound and can compete with many HIGH END AMPS out there today. Strengths: Build quality, accurate sound, high power, runs cool, tight bass, smooth mid-range, and high end is detailed and well extended. Weaknesses: None, unless you can find one.

This is about the POA 2400. As this is my first power amp I spent 3 months looking for the right amp for the right price. I am grateful to the person who sold me this amplifier. Not knowing what to expect from a "good" amp ,I can only compare it to my denon 1801 receiver and other amps I have heard. All I can say is "oh, my God". The detail ,midrange and soundstage are incredible. I have it hooked up to B&W 602.5's and am using my 1801 as a preamp. I'm no expert, but I know what I like. And I like this Denon. Using an anolog power meter I have not pressed past 60 watt rms: at this level my room shook with no hint of distortion. The 602.5'a are rated 120 watts and I didn't want to press my luck, but I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Solid clean midrange and every tink and tunk of the music I threw at it. It's wonder Denon quit making this amp: it showed up every other amp Denon made. At 60 watts the amp runs cool. If your lucky enough to find a clean 2400, buy it. I can find no flaws in it's performance and look foward to exploring it's upper limits. Just makes beautiful music.This is a very nice and powerful AMP.

This amp has really opened up my b&w 604 s3's. I don't have a whole lot to compare it to except some Parasound and Nad products as far as amplifiers go. So powerful and clean at low and high volumes with strong midrange. Bass is plenty and tight and highs are crystal clear. This is the best 275 I have ever spent. Went from Denon AVR2800 and bought this amp just to run my mains. The difference was not even in the same league. When I hooked up the amp to my 2800 I was kind of dissapointed because as I found out the 2800 pretty much sucks as a pre amp. When I hooked my cd player up direct I heard what this bad boy was capable of. I have to switch my outputs from the cd player to the 2800 to watch a surround sound movie and turn the bass way up cause my 2800 seems to suck a lot of the bass away. It sounds so good I feel this is a small price to pay until I can afford more amps and a good preamp. I picked it up in the first hour it was up with buy it now feature. Strengths: Detailed, tight, wide soundstage. Weaknesses: nope.

Summary: An absolutely fantastic sound amp thats sounds MUCH more expensive then even its retail price would suggest. Strengths: Smooth Highs, great vocals. Effortless power for hard to drive speakers.

Summary: My amp is actually a POA-2400. I put this thing up against the following: Adcom (~$850): The Adcom had a good grunt, but wasn''t nearly as tight and was MUCH more harsh. Adcom should be embarrassed. Rotel (~$700): The Rotel had slightly sweeter stage. The Denon was tighter, cleaner, and more powerful. The Rotel did a great job on female vocals, but had a nonexistant low-end. B&K (~$800): The B&K was a piece of junk. Don''t even get me started about my issues with that pathetic attempt at building an amp. It had so many annoyances that I couldn''t perform a real sound quality test. Parasound ($800): Nice amp! Smoother than the Denon and a stage almost as good as the Rotel. The Denon beat it in accuracy and tightness. Also, the Parasound had grunt, but didn't control it as well. With my speakers (B&W P6''s), the Denon is better. With tighter (Canton) speakers, the Parasound might be a good choice. Strengths: Tight and quiet.

Summary: Recently purchased one of these to drive the VERY power hungry Apogee stages. After fixing a faulty channel, the amp has worked flawlessly and provides so much effortless power it is hard to imagine. Transients and detail are off the charts and bass authority is great. Also a very quiet amp, no audible noise at any output level. I won't upgrade from this amp til I can afford to move into the Spectral/Pass Labs level market because I've listened to quite a few amps at 2 and 3 times the cost - Sony/NADS/ADS/Rotel/Marantz/ - that have less power and still don't sound as smooth as this amp. Basically, for less than 2000 if you need lots of power I don't see how you can do better(if you don't need lots of power there are lot more choices). Strengths: Unlimited power, smooth sound, well built. Weaknesses: Not a Spectral amp, but cheaper by $5000.

Summary: I have had this wonderful amp side by side with my Adcom and B&K, but this is the show stopper! It is amazing that this good a Class A amp is out there, yet nobody seems to know about them. At only $485 it was a steal! I've yet to hear anything under $1000 that has as much sweet and silky detail as this amp. Strengths: Incredible detail. Weaknesses: Not made anymore.

Summary: This unit works great, this unit is a high end DENON Power Amp Model # POA-2400. Handles 4 speakers A & B. Has to work with Pre Amp. Great addition to your system. This is a unit for people who like serious sound. Strengths: This unit works great even in surround-system.

Summary: I just purchased my third 2400. What a fine piece of equipment! Plenty of gut wrenching power, yet silky soft. You can't get a better used amp for the money. Strengths: Built like a tank, sounds wonderful!

Summary: I used this amplifier with a Denon AVR 2800 preamp. It sounds extremely fine, and I think it is one of the best power amplifier Denon has never built. Very good indeed.

Summary: the 2400 was and still probably is one of denons best amps in the 200 watt class i own one my self and though it runs hot i couldnt ask for a better piece for the money,of coarse it is not made any more but if you can find one buy it,it uses class-a circutry which is hard to find for that price over all performance is outstanding denon should look back to this product for future equiptment.
