HTPC e Media-Box...

...qualcuno ha idea di come abilitare le sezioni DVD, MP3, ecc. su Media-Box? Dopo averlo istallato, restano inattive, nel menù principale, la gran parte delle funzioni disponibili. Essendo una shell per HTPC estremamente 'efficace' mi avrebbe fatto piacere renderla completamente operativa....
Nel sito ufficiale (www.media-box.org) non ho trovato tutorial.

Io non l'ho ancora installato... non ho ancora avuto tempo (ho finalmente messo il telo la settimana scorsa ma non sono ancora riuscito a fare la geometria del prj.. AARRRGGG ), ma dalle faq del sito...

I run Media-BOX launcher but when I try to select one of the modules (movies etc) I get a "Not Implemented" error
Make sure you install microsoft xml 3.0 libraries, the latest windows media player, and that should do it. You're getting 'not implemented' because the xml lib you have can't parse the files. You can check what version of xml you are running here. You can get xml 3.0 libs from Microsoft

The default Media-Box skin.ini included in the Media-Box release is only configured to allow use of the the currently available Media-Box Modules.

For 2.0.3 release these are:

Browser
Rebooter
The Launcher will allow other programs to be configured. This is done by modifying the Media-Box skin.ini file.

Example:

Configure Media-Box Launcher to start Winamp when Music/MP3 is selected in the Launcher.

The existing section of the skin.ini file looks like this:

Now, selecting the MP3 icon on the default Media-Box Launcher screen will launch Winamp.

Additional parameter can be added on the following line (EXEPrams=) to enable winamp features. The same procedure can be used to modify the skin.ini file to launch other apps, like the DVD player.

....grazie av-joe. Se può essere utile a qualcuno: per abilitare le funzioni presenti nel menu generale basta semplicemente associare la voce 'EXE=' presente nel file skin.ini presente nella directory 'skin' con l'applicazione appropriata....
